[After taking a look at the items in the shop herself, there's one set in particular that catches her interest, and Korra's sure it could be helpful to many of the people living in the tree. If she hesitates before turning the amber on, it's only because she's already mentioned a few times that one element per bender is the norm in her world, and her offer is going to look suspicious when she's already used water bending very visibly. But when it comes to her own comfort over the needs of the people around her, Korra knows which one she would choose.

She kind of sucked at the incognito thing anyway, if she's honest.]

Hey, I know Saber's already mentioned the tree spirit's store, but there's something in there I wanted to talk about: the needles. I think most of us already figured out how hard finding stuff like metal is around here. [Korra fidgets, looking away from the amber for a moment.] A-anyway, the point is, if we pool our resources together and buy the needles, I can make some knives and daggers out of them.

After the surprise we had with the spiders, I think we should make sure as many of us have something to defend ourselves with as possible.

Somehow, I don't think that's going to really fit with the whole "working together" theme we're aiming for.

Metal bending. That's what it's called back home. I can control the metal in the needles, split them into pieces.

[The other Bucky had been curious about her bending, too, and Korra wonders again how different their worlds might be.]

[ He considers how to respond a moment, the wariness briefly showing in his eyes. ]

Some people have sorta similar powers, yeah. According to the files. But they're real rare, and they got their own problems.
