[He at least understands keeping a bug in a jar. Though his reasoning is more on the 'experimental' line then any sort of hobby.]
The cat's more concerning then the people. It will be more alert to small moving things.
[They might look like food. Unless it's remembered it's time at the tree, but he's not going to suggest it.]
