Investigating the Grail here?

[ Saber sounds confused. The Grail is supposed to be destroyed, therefore it's futile to research its effects. Unless in Rin's world, the Grail still remains.

Nonetheless, she doesn't make the connection. ]

[ He probably won't forget Gilgamesh, either, but it takes a while longer for him to recall; his eyes go vaguely distant. ]

I guess he should have been around in the Fifth Holy Grail War, shouldn't he? Things must have really gone awry in the timeline Rin and I recall, because he wasn't there at all.
