And yes, his pronunciation was horrific and stilted in a way only a person with a English accent could pull off.]

I've been defending using Ruby mostly, so I don't really take that much damage...

Defending isn't always about just tankin' hits to the face and trucking on. When fightin' with your fists, blocks and parries are gonna be your bread and butter. And catching swords but that'll be later.

Besides, it depends on the direction the attack is comin'. Hands and forearms for things above your waist, lower legs for things below the waist.
