amber ❄ 1st
[Tsuruhime has been uncharacteristically quiet lately. There's been a strange ache in her chest, and she hasn't felt nearly as energetic as she normally does. She's not sure what it is, but she's never been very good at naming certain emotions. All she's sure of is that she misses her home terribly--Kono, the shrine, the priests, her shipmates, her sea... It almost feels like there's a hole forming in her heart. (She misses her Twilight Ninja too, of course, but... it's not the same. He's not a part of 'home'.)
Her optimism can't be shaken, however, and she still looks cheerful as she peers into the slice of amber, but... it might seem a tad forced to the outsider. She is, of course, as happy as always! Really!!]
Hello, everyone! Lately, I've been thinking a lot about my hometown, so I was wondering what it's like where everyone else comes from.
I'm from Iyokono! It's right along the shore of the Seto sea. [She sighs wistfully.] It's the best! Everyone is so kind... and the food is wonderful! And the shrine where I live is so beautiful--the torii, the carvings, the camphor trees! It's amazing. [Another sigh.] I wish all of you could see it; it's a wonderful place to visit. We could collect shells on the shore together!
[She suddenly realizes she's getting a bit carried away and laughs sheepishly.]
So, uhm, what's your home like?
