Oh… where I’m from, there’s a belief that certain… people use magic from evil sources for ill, and others create protective charms and use holy magic to heal.
I thought that idea might apply here, with day representing holy powers and night representing dark magic. It was just a guess.
An interesting idea, nonetheless. Where I am from, magic is the cause of much fear and suspicion, though in truth most of it isn't so easily classified into one category or another. One particular specialization stands out as dark...but I never took steps to learn it, nor would I ever. I've seen the damage it can cause.
It is fascinating how broad magic is. Especially with everyone here being from different worlds. I’m not even sure how much magic still exists in my world compared to… a place like this. There is a lot of fear and superstition that may be unfounded.
[Food for thought. He sighs.] In any case, I’ll assume for now that the riddle refers to the gemstones. The magic theory may be worth visiting again in the future.
I would be interested in learning more, and aiding how I can in that regard. The notion of other worlds is still a new one to me, and I wish to learn what I can about the magic found in each and how they function.
