[The voice coming through the amber shards sounds somewhat put-upon. He's angled his own shard somewhat away from himself, however, and his odd face is thus somewhat obscured.]

I never thought about how dangerous being so tiny would be. Animals are huge, even little fires damage a lot of stuff, trees can fall on you and you can't get out of the way...

[He sighs, perhaps a little overdramatically, and the half of his body that can be seen shifts around uncomfortably.]

I know it's been really hot lately. My ice magic still works, so I was thinking about trying to cool down the pool on the third...floor, I guess, or wherever it would be best...

[Finally he tilts the shard just a little bit more towards his face - enough so that one can see he's clearly addressing everyone, at least.]

Would that be okay? Is there a better spot?

I can conjure us more food, too. But mostly just bread. And muffins.

Well - I guess it's not something that every town has, or anything. But it's a pretty easy spell. My foster father taught me.

[He IS being useful! :DDD This makes him pretty happy, and he moves a little closer to the amber, so that there's a clearer view of his smiling face.]

I certainly won't refuse, though I feel I ought to warn that I have a bottomless pit of a dog as a companion. If he finds out you have such a talent, he'll never leave you alone.
