[Saber's face immediately appears on the amber surface and, from behind her, there are glimpses of Chime's recently opened shop.]

Good morning. To those who were not aware, the spirit known as Chime has just opened her shop and brought wares that are not available to us in the tree. [She is inwardly pleased to know that means this creature too can leave the tree somehow, but she will try to communicate with her later.] However, these items are not free and we cannot afford them alone. Their stock seems to be very limited as well. The answer is obvious, many of us surely have concluded that the solution is reuniting with close allies to purchase the desired ware with them, but I will suggest something else.

[She has been speaking about this matter with some people already, but she has had no time to propose an assembly outdoors to discuss the organization overall they could have to improve their lives and call a vote. She pauses to make her proposal.]

There are basic items such as food or the string of yarn, among others, that are of a general interest. Why do not we, the potential purchasers, donate them in benefit of all of us? We should assign a space as a storeroom to keep all what belongs the community and be sure that they are given a fair use.

[If this is accepted, she will bring up the delegated tasks for those who are specialized in different fields to optimize their lifestyles. Because raw ingredients could be better utilized in hands of good cooks than inexpert ones.]

If you do not agree, it is fine. I only wanted to address that, for the time being, we are expected to live together and a cohesive group stands stronger than one that lives with cordial divisions.

A store? [ Illya can't help but be genuinely curious. That's good to know that there's some sort of special store that sells those types of items. ]

I don't mind sharing as long as people don't fight over the food...

Hm. No, I was wary of the nature of these stones. [ Good thing she did not throw them away. ]

I have not bought anything, Rin. [ She couldn't with only two rocks. Silently, she turns the amber so it displays the items instead of her face. She speaks while she shows Rin the food, the magical items and the other mundane ones. ] There is some variety. What are you looking for?

Yes, a market with stands. I was on my way to the food altar when I noticed it was open. [ Saber and food otp. ]

Disputing over essential supplies is something I wish to avoid.

[ even if this means the sacrifice of giving up a bigger portion of food, she has other priorities right now. ]

[ Opening her mouth to comment on the clothing, she stops once she sees what they look like. Not even the disfigured hue of the amber can convince her that it's worth trying on. ]

We could have asked. This can't be the first time this is happening, can it?

[ So far everyone's talked their heads off about spiders, giant shadows, and questions over the amber. It's gotten to be kind of a nuisance to Rin, so she's tucked her own away and ignores it until she hears a familiar voice. ]

[ She misses the expression Rin is making because she's holding the amber to face the wares and not her face. ]

I was informed that this spirit was released after the spiders were defeated.

[ Saber explains. She has seen the steeds that are rent in this floor, but the stands were empty. The price of the mounts is another too. ]

[ So maybe this is the first time, she cannot be sure, but it is too important to omit from the information they have supplied to her. ]

Lately her mind has been working overtime. There are so many other variables at play here that Rin hasn't had time to sit down and place these thoughts in order. ]

If you're going to go through with this, you'll need a guard system in place or individuals you trust to act as agents to keep stock. Furthermore, some of those items I saw need to be frozen to keep them from spoiling.

Yes, that is another of the subjects I want to address.

[ She clears her throat. She recalls the injured man bathing days ago. ]

Not just for the supplies, but also know who among us are qualified to be healers. [ Either by the use of magic or modern science. ] I believe we should be aware which ones are our specialities and put them at the disposal and benefit of the group.

[ Not just of warriors and healers. Those who can cook, those who excel in housechores to keep the space clean and hygenic, those who can explore and investigate. ]

[ After she finishes showcasing the goods, she turns the amber to display her face. Her lips tug slightly when Rin mentions those two points. She does not disclose her nature as magus so openly. ]

One seems to be a task for someone who could conjure ice.

[ It's good she doesn't because the last thing she wants is for everyone to come pester her for favors with nothing in return. It's difficult enough to manage the three from Fuyuki City, Rin still unaware of Ilyasviel's existence. ]

There may be someone who could do that around here. [ May not.

Who knows? Rin knows. Saber knows. No one else has to know. ]

[ She tries to return the salute with a gallant bow. Or what seems to be a bow from the awkward angle of the amber. ]

I am Saber, Sergeant Barnes. Well met. [ She shakes her head. ] Nobody will turn away help in times of need and when there is someone willing and able to perform service.

[ At least she will not. ]

However, before we agreed on these tasks, we should gather together and decide as a group. I do not possess the official authority to delegate anyone. [ She's the King of Britain, not the ruler of the Tree. ]

Nobody said anything about delegating. S'more a matter of makin' a service available and lettin' folks here know about it. What about a notice board of some kind?

[ Then there's the problem of a lack of a common language. He frowns, but doesn't retract the suggestion. ]

[ she's seen (or heard, mostly) this young woman around, of how she seems to be taking charge and gathering opinion from the other tree-dwellers. she didn't think she'd ever run into her personally, simply out of disinterest. her ideas are well-thought but a bit too ambitious for a group this size. sharing is easy when you only have two or three people in your company. not so much with several dozens.

[She gives Saber a warm smile. If she hadn't already gotten a good impression of her from before, she definitely would just from this.]

I think it's a good idea. Since we can't buy the items on our own, it makes sense for us to all work together and share what we really need.

[ She nods, taking that as a yes from Rin, which reminds her there is another magus, though she wonders if she should just call her 'magical girl', instead. ]

I was merely clarifying so there would not be mistakes. [ Because someone abruptly labeled her general the other day, and she does not feel she has earned a title in this tree. ]

A notice board? [ she considers for a moment, though, there language is an issue, she hasn't tested if she could write in a language everyone could understand. ] It would be good to develop something that allowed us to pass a reminder of this.

[ sharing is easier if you optimized the ingredients and transform them into prepared meals. Arturia likes well made meals over the raw material, so to speak.

She pauses at the new face asking for ice. She cannot reveal Rin can provide her with it because the girl prefers to keep her intervention a secret. So she nods, she does need ice and maybe someone who will assist Rin so she would not need to exert herself. ]

[ she pauses for a second before answering. ] Riona. What do you need it for?

[Saber bows her head in greeting. She's grateful for how forthcoming she has been since her arrival.]

Yes, this is definitely not the time to hoard them. [The access to limited wealth and rare items could also be a source of conflict, too. If disputes have been minimal it is mostly because the inhabitants didn't have anything to start conflict over.] There are a few articles that are difficult to share.

[Saber bows her head after her introduction.]

Among the food supplies, there is an egg and a bacon strip. Should we purchase them to use as ingredients, we would need to keep what is left of it from spoiling.

Mm! [ The young girl nods with some confidence, agreeing wholeheartedly. ]

But Saber-san, even if there's food over there, wouldn't it go bad if we don't have a fridge? [ Illya's not an eavesdropper, so she hasn't heard any of the other conversations. That would be rude. ] And probably a place to protect it from the bad guys!

If you need someone to protect it from bad people-- or anything that tries to attack-- though, I'm sure me and Ruby can handle it!

[ the bow comes unexpectedly, as there's no need for such formality in this situation or directed at her, so she stares at the amber for another moment before remembering to listen. huh... she looks genuinely confused now. ]

Why would there be any left? Just use it all.
