Haunting music fills the darkness, little wisps of light illuminating the grove by the Tree. One by one, strange creatures gather by the clearing - among them, the Hollow Lady and the restored and once again beautiful (to all that fancy men) Violinist.

Shimmering creatures and walking corpses, strange little bearded men in pointed hats, swirling mist with slightly human features, a tree-like lady... it seems it's a night for the strange ones, and when music fills the forest, it's time for a party!

*Unless someone had managed to spot the newcomer before he found a corner to hide himself away in, the face that appears on the amber is likely completely unfamiliar. What's more, if one looks closely, they might see that the pupils in his blue eyes are slitted like a cat's, rather than round. And when he opens his mouth to speak...*

I don't know who you are or what this place is, but it makes no difference to me so long as you return me to Nagoya immediately.

*...the sharp-eyed might notice the distinctively long canine teeth he possesses. Fangs. The vampire's expression and voice are cold as he continues speaking.*

*He sets down the amber, ending the transmission there. If he has to resort to threats or force he will, but he's willing to see if this can be resolved quickly without that. If not... well, he'll find a way to reach Yu-chan, one way or another...*

*Though if anyone feels like searching (or just happens to get lucky and look in just the right spot), his hiding spot is currently a crevice in the bark partway up the outside of the tree trunk, just underneath one of the lower balconies. Apparently someone wasted no time figuring out how to put his new wings to work!*

Food and drinks will be provided - though feel free to bring your own - and all characters are invited! However, things don't go right and Ruby ended up spiking some of the food and drinks, causing some of the characters to de-age.

( ooc: And this post announces the start of the deaging player plot! It's an opt-in event, so you can have your characters deage to any point in time either physically or both physically/mentally or not, if you want to avoid doing that. Effects are somewhat immediate, and can last as long as you want during the duration of the event, which ends on August 8th. This is also a mingle log, so feel free to thread as much as you want. And characters are free to make their own separate posts for the deaging as well! If you have any questions feel free to hit me up. )

Ladies and gentlemen, if I may have your attention?

As most of you are aware, the Mirror has recently shown us a new riddle. I believe that this may be our key to healing the Tree and returning the Life Stream to normal. If the Tree’s servant is trapped, it is our duty to free them.

I realize that the last quest to free one of the Tree’s servants was dangerous. This one may be too. Please don’t feel the need to participate if you cannot abide the risk.

I would like to discuss plans before we begin the expedition. If you have knowledge of driving a wagon, or are involved in food storage, please come find me by the wagons outside, or respond by amber. Also, we will need to arrange for the division of our defense forces between the wagons and the Tree.
