[Genuinely confused (and a bit frustrated) by the main quest, Hakuryuu has decided on tackling something that seems more doable.

Even if it's the main quest promising to get them home...which he's not sure he 100% believes, but that's something to puzzle out later. For now, the second message on the mirror is the that has his interest.
Faith and trust are not something he comes by naturally...but blue fairy dust...? He at least as a little of an idea for that.

Which is why he's flown to the newly unlocked floor with Chime's friend/brother/whatever they are. There is fairy dust here. Maybe the new "Servant" (is that what they are?) has a few ideas.

[Little musical notes announces the appearance of Tone as the little spirit appears before Ren in a shower of sparkles. He looks a little curious, but not as spirited and lively as Chime.]

[Hakuryuu blinks for a moment when the little spirit first appears.]

[Maybe not the best way to word it but it does seem like Tone is responsible for it at least.]

Once again, he points to the dust fountain, and then flips his wispy little hand over, as if he's turning something upside down.]

Is the dust the same color as the life-stream?

Is turning the sword going to change the color of the dust?

I do not know which types you are speaking about, I meant the magic to create from nothingness, the one that permit one to travel and control time, among others, including Third Magic.
