[ While the Amber activates, nothing is seen, covered up slightly- intentional maybe. It's clear though when the female voice filters through that the girl is speaking to the 'network' or anyone who can hear her. Some might recognize her voice, too, if they've spoken in the past. It's not that big of a deal in the end, but it may be a little embarrassing which is why she prefers speaking like this while holding the glass like rock. ]

What do you do when you can't sleep?

[ Yet, it's even more than that. ]

That is... what would someone suggest for prolonged nightmares?

[ Her eyes light up at that. If nothing else, she's definitely an animal person. ]

I'd love to see Mr. Puppy!

[If there's one trait that endears her, it's being an animal person. Or at least a dog person. Ivaera smiles.]

His name is Garahel and he's rather sizeable now, though a puppy at heart. Give him a treat and rub his belly, and you'll have a friend forever. We're currently camping just outside the tree, until we can decide what to do next.

[ There was a pause at that, a little surprised. ]

Have you been unable to find a place to stay yet?

Not yet, no. I wouldn't be parted from Garahel, and there's also the fact that it's difficult to travel between floors with him. He doesn't have wings, and it would take at least two people together for it to happen. I've had help before, but I can't ask that of them all the time.

Um... [ She doesn't know how welcome it is, but it can't hurt ]

I live on the first floor up from the bottom of the tree. It still would require flying him up, but if you needed help... I don't think myself or Zero would mind.

[ Basically she's offering a place to stay. ]

I'd have to talk to Zero and Nagi-san, but we still have another bed.

[Ivaera perks up at that.]

It would be an ideal location. If your friends agree, I would be willing. If not, I understand. Please let me know when you've spoken to them.

[Wait, has she given her name? Oops.]

I am Ivaera. It figures that I would give the name of my mabari before my own.

[ RIGHT... And maybe she should peek out from under her blankets. Letting them fall off from over her head she smiles sheepishly. ]

I guess names are important for things like this. [ And knowing what the other looks like. She bows politely, holding up the amber shard. ]

My name is Yuuki. It's nice to meet you, Ivaera-san. As well as... Gara.... [ She can't remember the rest of his name. ] As well as Gara-kun!

It's nice to meet you, too, Yuuki.

[Hearing his name, the mabari hound stirs from his sleep and yawns, opening his eyes a little as Ivaera tilts her amber slice toward him.]

You caught him at a rare moment. Normally, he'd be crowding this and yapping away. That will happen in due time, believe me.

That's the sign of a healthy dog, right? He seems so lively.

[ It's curious...]

You both arrived together, then?

'Lively' is a good word for him. Garahel tries to behave, but admittedly he can be a handful.

[She nods, stroking Garahel until he begins to drift off once more.]

Thankfully, yes. We had just reunited after a stretch apart. I would hate to think about losing him just after all that.

Ah- I can't imagine it would be easy to be separated from a companion like that. I'm glad that you're both together again now.

[ It would be sad otherwise. ]
