JOURNEY OF THE DAY

The small wagon pulled by the white and brown rat leaves the mist and sets the direction to the east. Moving in a decent pace meant for distance rather than speed, the adventurers' transport turns in towards a small path that will take them far through the undergrowth.
The adventure begins!
DAY ONE
Boarding
afterward, he'll be sitting inside with the others and waiting to take off. ]
no subject
Yo!
no subject
So this is our transport?
[In truth, he is excited to see where this quest takes them. It feels good to have a task to complete, and an opportunity to make a difference.]
no subject
So you're to be my comrade-in-arms upon this noble quest? Greetings, brave warrior! Behold, our carriage stands ready to bear us forth to adventure and GLORY!
[He sweeps his arm dramatically in the direction of the wagon, presenting it almost as though he'd built it himself.]
no subject
Right.
[It takes a few seconds for him to thaw, but at least that is time to notice the sword. He hopes this energy can be channelled into the man's swordplay -- he'll be more inclined to be forgiving of it then.]
TÅdÅ Takatora. [He introduces himself.] If everyone's eyes are fixed on glory then we have nothing to worry about.
no subject
And I am Owain, Chosen Scion of Heroes and Avenger of Truth and Light. Fear not--even if the eyes of our companions stray from glory, I'll find more than enough of it for everyone!
[He lets his hand fall back to his side, grin still in place, and regards the other man. This one definitely has the look of a skilled fighter, and as far as Owain is concerned you can never have too many of those. His attention naturally gravitates to the blade at Takatora's side.]
...You bear a mighty armament, comrade. No doubt it houses powerful latent powers! What name have you granted it?
no subject
Stormy Dragon King.
[He answers, as he draws his saiken to show it off. It's certainly a unique weapon.]
no subject
He recovers his composure quickly, though. It wouldn't do to slip out of character while making a first impression on a fellow great warrior.]
Glorious... A glorious name for a glorious weapon! I can see you took great care in choosing it, for it resonates with the blade's very soul! --Especially the "Dragon" part.
[Always eager for an excuse to show off his own sword, he draws it and raises it high above his head, making sure the metal catches the light. It looks more heroic that way.] Behold my own bosom companion, the legendary demon blade Mystletainn!
DAY TWO
no subject
Hey. It's time to wake up!
[He doesn't care if the group sleeps in the wagon when they're on the move again, but right now no one is allowed to lie in, even if he needs to resort to herding.]
no subject
[Back home duty had of course regulated this some, but since arriving in this world he's really slipped into his natural state. Which is why his reaction is... pretty much non-existant. One might notice the slightest shift in movement, but otherwise Yoshitsugu remains as he was beforehand, forehead poking above the sheets and black hair spilling out.]
[Almost certainly he's woken up a little, but right now it isn't showing. Anyone who knows him like Takatora does can probably guess at his state, however.]
no subject
That includes you, Yoshitsugu.
no subject
Mmm.
[The tendancy to be rather frustrating is certainly one of Yoshitsugu's more negative qualities, to be sure.]
no subject
Up!
[He insists, as he does so.]
no subject
Go to sleep, Takatora.
[It's murmured in an incredibly sleep voice. Okay, so he's kind of awake, but quite far from 'fully' judging by that apparent ignorance of the situation.]
no subject
Idiot... We have a quest to fulfil.
no subject
Can't move yet.
[It's hard to tell how much of that is really 'can't' and how much is 'won't.' Obviously Yoshitsugu would like to sleep more, but he also lacks stamina compared to most (which is at least partially responsible for those sleep habits of his).]
[Working out the truth is probably impossible.]
no subject
You're responsible for carrying your pillow.
[He says, before he tucks the blanket around Yoshitsugu once again, this time tightly. These reason why soon becomes apparent, as he pushes his arms under Yoshitsugu's body. When he straightens up, he carries Yoshitsugu with him.]
no subject
Such strong arms...
[There is definitely a hint of teasing in that sleepy voice, proving for sure that no matter the truth of this situation, there is no physical complaint that can stop Yoshitsugu from opening his mouth.]
no subject
You won't be saying that after I drop you.
[Which, of course, he won't.]
no subject
You won't drop me. You love me too much.
[It's probably good that he's on the verge of falling back to sleep, really. That way he might sleep through the rest of his apparent overly playful mood.]
no subject
D-don't underestimate me. I'm severely tempted.
[Why should it even embarrass him in the first place?]
no subject
Of course you are, Takatora.
[That's it from him for at least an hour; the pace of his breathing makes it clear he's back to dreaming.]
