DAY DESTINATION

It's early in the morning when the wagon finally stops, and the adventurers have finally reached their destination after traveling far into the forest. They now find themselves in front of a dark, strange cave, just large enough for them to enter. The rats refuse to move any further, lying down to rest as the adventurers get a moment to check the cave out.

What soon draws the attention is a small gleam from somewhere in the cave, as if a beam of sunlight had been reflected from a metal surface. The light resonates with the ambers, showing the picture of the crystal sword that had been seen on the mirror shard. Breaking apart again, two pieces fade away, showing only the guard of the sword.

When explored, the cave reaches pretty far in before it suddenly splits off in six different directions. Each of these will only fit one person, and if they enter the new path, it will close behind them. It seems they're in for a challenge that might be difficult to handle.

Somewhere inside is a piece of this puzzle.

"...we are bid to trust, it seems."

This was something of a surprise to Yoshitsugu. He walked over to where Nagi was stood and looked him over, gaze revealing nothing of his inner thoughts. Which had been, to put it bluntly, complete disbelief in this whole 'throwing' idea being anything close to what they should do.

Yoshitsugu didn't expect to always be correct about things, however. This test as a whole had completely thrown his foresight off.

"Assuming the timing of that whisper is a clue, then this plan of yours, Nagi, may actually be part of the solution."

He'd never been an idealistic man... but there was a part of him that almost wished he was, and that always found himself drawn to that trait. Yoshitsugu glanced at Takatora for a moment, and thought of Mitsunari too, before looking back at Nagi.

"A leap of faith must be made. I shall trust that this will go well."

Owain eyed Nagi's outstretched hand with continued skepticism. The only strength buff he knew of couldn't make anyone that strong, and after his ordeal in the tunnel he wasn't feeling all that inclined to listen to disembodied voices in his head.

...But then, what was the alternative? Waiting around in the hope that another solution would present itself? What if that didn't happen? Owain didn't want to wait around and speculate; he wanted to do something. To take action. To show those voices back in the tunnel just who they were dealing with! So even if their only idea might be a horrible one, it still beat doing nothing... right?

His eyes hardened in resolve, and he gripped Nagi's hand firmly, returning the grin with a reckless and somewhat unsettling one of his own.

"Do it."

"I hope you can nail the landing!"

A short pause to recall the spell. At full power, it'd only last a short while so he was waiting until the last moment to let it fly. Since the others approved, he'd go all in. he figured Justice the Swordsman wouldn't have an issue sticking his landing.

"Melodia bellax! Vis Maxima!"

He felt the magic rip through his body, reinforcing every muscle, granting immense power while keeping them from ripping. Nagi was very used to this spell. His other hand grabbed Owain further up his arm and, with one spin, let go. If there was any enjoyment to unassisted flying, Owain was getting it now.
