3rd Nightmare || Deaging event
[ You might recognize those particular features, they do kind of stand out, but there's something very wrong here. Instead of ash grey skin it's nut brown. Instead of slim and shadowy it's solid and more heavily muscled. But the eyes, the eyes are still just as gold...if a little confused. ]
Alright, my armor I can see stealing, and selling off. That at least has some worth. But why in the name of the stars did you steal my clothes too?!
[ That's right kids. A very long time ago, before there was a Man in the Moon, a need for things like Guardians, and before fear took over a form of it's own and walked out into the world, there was a whole other story. This is not the broken general that became Pitch Black. More like the dumb knight that ended up in Kit and Orcelito's room naked because without shadowy powers he's got no clothes. At least Kit put a blanket over his naked bum. ]
I suppose I should be grateful my necklace was spared your pilfering, but leaving a man naked but for that is odd. At any rate I want my sword back. It's impossible to sell, so just give it back and I'll see to collecting the rest on my own.
[ And that's it. No threats. No tantrums. Not even grumbling. He's so nice about it, that it's hard to believe it's the same person. ]

[ Gil seems completely unsurprised by the big change, and why would he be? It's his potion. ]
I don't think there are any shops that buy things around here, so I'm not sure why anyone would want to take your stuff?
[ A point of frustration for Gil himself. He's ridiculously rich, but with nobody using gold for anything, he can hardly show off his ridiculous richness. ]
I can lend you a sword until you find yours again? If it's just a sword, I have more than could be needed.
[ Masterworks were great, but he doesn't actually care much about them. He wants his Noble Phantasms back. ]

I have no idea why they'd want it, then. It's probably another of those "drop off the knights with weird supplies and see how long it takes them to come back" things.
[ Some never make it back, they just make that planet their home. Kozmotis made it back 5 times through 2 wars. So either they or he was doing something right. ]
And it's not just any old sword. It's a starlight sword, capable of cutting through the thickest darkness.

[ For the record, Gil had nothing to do with the deaging wine. He provided the tools, but it was completely Magical Ruby's fault. ]
That does sound like a fine sword. I'd check if it was in my collection, but I don't have any of my true treasures right now.

[ As said already, the potion affected him a little differently because simply turning back time enough to remove shadowy powers affected the mind as well as the body. After all it was a lot mor of the fearlingd ang nightnre men's influence that made the Pitgh thst Gil hsd first met. ]
