[Quite frankly, the whole of this situation has Jae-Ha seething. This tree - this world - is nothing but a glorified cage. As pleasant as some of it may appear, there's no saving the fact that he's locked in, not to mention other people, as well. At the least, he seems to have caught on to that ray of sunshine, which he uses, but it's not as though it continues to erase all of the bitterness that comes with being here.

But nevertheless. —He seems more at ease, than not, when appearing.

. . . A certain White Dragon, though, just to the side of the screen, does not.]

This amber is very impressive, really. To think that conversing across distances can happen instantly was even remotely possible. . .

But ah- More importantly! My name is Jae-Ha, and I'd like to most humbly offer myself to assist anyone who would like a few lessons in flight, as I'm sure that coordination might be—

[He starts, only to be (rudely!) interrupted.] Jae-Ha! [It's clear the frantic, white haired dragon in the background is not at all happy with the situation, glaring at Jae-Ha from behind.] Your 'services' are hardly what is important right now. Get this off of me already!!

[That being Kija's gem is smack dab in the middle of his forehead, courtesy of some wonderful tree sap, therefore forcing the presence of his wings.]

Don't worry, it'll loosen up within a day. [or something]

That's too long! [He practically despairs.] I- I cannot stand to have these horrible things to be around for another second! AH-! [Nooooo] The Dragon Claw is sticky with sap now, too!

[Jae-Ha just lets out an exasperated sigh] They're a beautiful set of wings, Kija-kun. Now you can fly without any of my assistance, even. Take advantage of it. Your complaining will get you nowhere.

I REFUSE!! [Before Jae-Ha can do much of anything, then, a white scaled dragon claw reaches out and all but grabs his arm to get his full attention - and hopefully succeed in removing the stone, leading the feed to cut off short.]

[The way Kija puts it is mildly annoying. The type of establishment was what it was, and they did what they were able to do. It would have been the same were it any other type of shop.

—However, Jae-Ha doesn't make any comment on it, because it isn't what's important. He, too, was incredibly upset with himself over what ended up happening.]

It's as Kija says. We were in the Water Tribe, where we ended up investigating a drug smuggling ring, which ran very deep amongst the citizens. Hiyou was the mastermind behind it all. Certain unfortunate circumstances led to Yona being injured.

[Not that this explains how Hak was injured.]

She did recover just fine, thankfully so. But. . . we should have been there.

[Unrefined place.

That speaks volumes.]

So it's Droopy Eyes fault?

[Because why else would they be at something like that?]

Everyone? I can barely imagine White Snake in a place like that--let alone the others. Why wasn't anyone left behind with her?

[ He shakes his head. ]

Shin-Ah was there, along with Yoon. We left her in what we thought was a safe place, so that we could investigate the establishment in which Jae-Ha had been drugged. It should have been safe.

[ Frustration clearly crosses his face. ]

They thought she was in the bath. None of us had any idea that a strange transaction was to take place there that night.

Because we weren't there for entertainment or leisure. We went there undercover, in hopes it would lead us to Hiyou, and Kija understood that.

[Equally as frustrated. For once, too, with Hak's reaction to what kind of shop it was, rather than simply tease.]

It was a complete and utter miscalculation. We had no idea that where Yona and the others were was also under the influence of that man.

[However even in explaining, a part of him feels like this is going nowhere.]

[The establishment in which Jae-Ha had been drugged. Are you fucking kidding him? This. This is why he doesn't go to these places with you unless forced.

Well, no that's not actually the reason why, but it's a good excuse now.]

And of course she can't help but get mixed up in it...

[He just gives a resigned and weary sigh, she would be the cause of a heart attack someday for him it was certain. Either from elation or panic, he wasn't sure which.]

How is she?

[That's the important question. Everything else can fall into place later.]

She says that she is doing all right.

[ Although it's clear from his torn expression and the tone in his voice that he doesn't think she's as well as she pretends to be. ] However, Yoon says that beyond a scar, she should be all right with proper rest.

[One of his hands balls into a fist, though he just gives a nod.]

She was lucky. Yoon was very quick to act, as well. She'll be just fine.

[The group did continue to move on, however, even though she should have gotten more rest.]

[He's glad to hear that but it doesn't make him feel any better about it.]

So how does this so called injury of mine come into play? Did I beat the crap out of the guy for touching her?

She cut him across the face.

[ Is what he heard. He hadn't been there at the time, originally. ] The mark is such that scarring was obvious. For that he sought revenge on her. [ He was insane, in Kija's eyes. And not really due to the drugs. ] After sending out assassins on a number of occasions to try and kill her, he attempted so himself, but you interfered and took the blow meant for her.

[Yona's action was impressive, however it didn't set the overall feeling to the situation, in the end.]

We did hear she fought back for as much as she was able. Thankfully though there was no repeat of what had happened earlier on.

[He isn't happy about any of this, you know. He should have been there. She shouldn't have gotten touched at all.]

What was the injury?

[His expression is extremely closed off and serious right now. Nobody should be able to touch her.]

Hers or yours?

[ He frowns ] Her own is a cut across the back. It was done with a sword as far as I know. Your own is an injury to your arm.

Yours was deeper than the one she endured.

[Yona's would have been far more deadly had it gone any further.]

[But Hak isn't an idiot. He knows which wound would be riskier.]

Do I still have use of the arm? [That's all the matters about his.]

How much damage did she take? Is she okay?

[ A frown. It's still sort of early and hard to tell, but- ]

Yoon seems to think that you will both make a full recovery. The princess has assured all of us that she is fine.

Yeah. Either way, knowing you both, it'll be in no time.

[Everything is finally processing a little and he's calming down knowing that Yona will be okay. He still is trying to get everything straight in his head though. He ticks off the points one by one on his fingers to make sure he has them in order.]

We're in the Water Tribe, which has drug smuggling going on that we're trying to get rid of.

Some pervert got drugged, so the three of us went to go investigate--and the guy was where she was all along.

The Princess tried to stop him on her own and sliced up his face, which pissed him off and made him put a hit out on her.

[Wait, he's missing something.]

Did her injury happen that first night?

[ He shakes his head. ]

Not during the occasion with Jae-Ha. But when we went to investigate. [ He frowns... ] The drugs are powerful, so it...took a few days to recover fully.

[It has nothing with being a pervert, alright. Even in not being a stranger to drugs, it's not like this time he willingly took it.]

I wanted to try and let it be, for how deeply rooted the issue was, but Yona refused to let things be.

[He knew she was right, in the end.]

Many of the Tribe's citizens were addicts.

Of course she wouldn't.

[The princess has a very strong sense of responsibility for the things that are wrong within the entire country.]

It's her country. She would want to help everyone.

[ He nods, eyes closing. She has a strong sense of duty which is admirable. And... terrifying all at once. ]

For now- it seems we have really disrupted things. Hopefully once we leave, things will only to continue to get better from here on out.

[It's Kija he looks towards this time. Yet another time discrepancy, then.]

. . .Yeah. It was as you say. Things were resolved.

[He nods. There isn't much he can contribute other than his dislike of this situation. Not knowing is something that doesn't set well with him.]

Is there anything else I should know?

[He can't help but feel there is something they are leaving out.]

[ . . . He dislikes lying. But would talking about it truly benefit him? He doesn't think so. Lifting a hand up, it ghosts across the bruise on his cheek. ]

The fact that the princess is safe and all right is the most important thing to me. Everyone is safe. That is all that matters I think.
