[Quite frankly, the whole of this situation has Jae-Ha seething. This tree - this world - is nothing but a glorified cage. As pleasant as some of it may appear, there's no saving the fact that he's locked in, not to mention other people, as well. At the least, he seems to have caught on to that ray of sunshine, which he uses, but it's not as though it continues to erase all of the bitterness that comes with being here.

But nevertheless. —He seems more at ease, than not, when appearing.

. . . A certain White Dragon, though, just to the side of the screen, does not.]

This amber is very impressive, really. To think that conversing across distances can happen instantly was even remotely possible. . .

But ah- More importantly! My name is Jae-Ha, and I'd like to most humbly offer myself to assist anyone who would like a few lessons in flight, as I'm sure that coordination might be—

[He starts, only to be (rudely!) interrupted.] Jae-Ha! [It's clear the frantic, white haired dragon in the background is not at all happy with the situation, glaring at Jae-Ha from behind.] Your 'services' are hardly what is important right now. Get this off of me already!!

[That being Kija's gem is smack dab in the middle of his forehead, courtesy of some wonderful tree sap, therefore forcing the presence of his wings.]

Don't worry, it'll loosen up within a day. [or something]

That's too long! [He practically despairs.] I- I cannot stand to have these horrible things to be around for another second! AH-! [Nooooo] The Dragon Claw is sticky with sap now, too!

[Jae-Ha just lets out an exasperated sigh] They're a beautiful set of wings, Kija-kun. Now you can fly without any of my assistance, even. Take advantage of it. Your complaining will get you nowhere.

I REFUSE!! [Before Jae-Ha can do much of anything, then, a white scaled dragon claw reaches out and all but grabs his arm to get his full attention - and hopefully succeed in removing the stone, leading the feed to cut off short.]

Okay... But you have to be nice to your friends.

I'm not being mean to him at all. He just needs to adapt, and I'm helping him do so.

Helping him? [ he doesn't know what 'adapt' means, but if this person is really helping the other, then... ] If he adapts, everything will be okay? He won't be sad anymore?

[ 'sad' probably isn't the best word for it. 'angry', 'upset', 'embarrassed' maybe. ]

Sad? [No, definitely not the right word.] He should be fine, though. . . knowing him, even then, all of this will still really frustrate him.

[a beat or so, because really.] Although I can understand that part.

[nullity]

Oh... [ that's neither good or bad, so he's not sure how to feel. but he's eventually smiling again. ] It's good that both of you came here together. It's nice to be with your friends. Things that are supposed to be scary become less scary. My friends are still at home, but they'll come here soon.

[jadewine]

I'm sure I would have been just fine had I arrived on my own. I won't say it's terrible to have him around, though.

[Wait, though-] You'd actually wish for your friends to be taken from their homes?

[nullity]

[ nai's expression becomes slightly confused at the question. ] No, that's scary. But I'm supposed to stay with them all the time, so I have to go back home soon. But I don't know how, so that's why they'll come here. Gareki is going to be mad again...

[ he doesn't seem to be thinking that for his friends to arrive here, it would have to be against their wills. ]

They may not even be aware of this place at all.

[nullity]

[ he pauses before saying something to that. ] Oh. Um... [ clearly he hadn't considered that either. oh no... ] So they might not come?

[jadewine]

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but no. They may not. Think about it- when you were still at home, did you know this place existed?

[nullity]

[ that is bad news indeed. he considers the question and eventually lowers his head. ] No... I only knew about it after I came here. I don't know how I came here either. [ he looks back at the screen. there's no reason this person would know the answer, but nai doesn't ask his questions with that much forethought. ] So I can't see everyone again?

[jadewine]

[He does feel a little bad in telling this kid what he has, but the intent really isn't to upset him. Jae-Ha is only honest.]

I wouldn't know, really. I can only imagine that there is as much of a possibility that you could return home, as there is that your friends may show up.

[nullity]

[ it takes him a few seconds to understand that. is he saying that anything could happen? so they may come, or they may not come. nai doesn't like thinking about the latter. ] Okay...

[ hopefully it will be, at least. eventually nai has another question as his grip on the amber loosens somewhat. ] Do you have other friends at home too?

[jadewine]

[the somewhat shift in subject is probably for the best.]

Yeah. Both Kija and I have comrades back home. We'd like to return to them as soon as possible.

[nullity]

[ indeed. and that is a feeling he's well acquainted with, even after adapting to his new dwellings. ] I hope we can all go back home soon. And then your friend won't be sad anymore. [ again, not quite the word for it. but the sentiment is what's important! ]

[jadewine]

Agreed, and likewise for you.

[A bit of a softer look with that. Although it goes for everyone, for a child to be trapped is no good at all. Jae-Ha truly does wish for his return.]

[nullity]

[ he nods and manages a smile of his own. these revelations weren't very nice to hear, of course, but now that nai knows of the real chances of his friends finding him, he might be more inclined to assist others in finding a way past the mist. he was always lonely but he's also made friends here and has kept his optimism.

there's one last thing he wants to say before he turns off his amber and goes to discuss the contents of this conversation with his housemates: ] Um, your friend has really pretty wings! They're sparkly. It's like they have snow on them.

[ his point being, he hopes the white-haired man doesn't despair too long about them. ]

[a chuckle to that]

I very much agree. They're quite beautiful, and do suit him, no matter what he may personally feel.

[Because Kija, himself, is quite good looking, but that's beside the point.]

[nullity]

[ he nods a few times. ] So they're not horrible! Horrible means bad, right? His wings aren't bad. I like them.

[jadewine]

They're not bad at all; not to me or you, or many of the others here. It simply is Kija's personal opinion.

[nullity]

[ he's happy to hear the agreement. ] Maybe he'll feel better once he eats. Yogi says food makes everyone happy! I'm going to eat now too.

[jadewine]

[That just gets a chuckle, reminding him quite a bit of Zeno.]

Well. I hope you enjoy your meal, then.

[nullity]

[ he nods a few times and offers another smile. ] I will! I hope he does too.

[ that's his cue to turn off his amber, which he does after he gives a cheerful 'bye-bye, jae-ha!' in farewell. ]
