[Quite frankly, the whole of this situation has Jae-Ha seething. This tree - this world - is nothing but a glorified cage. As pleasant as some of it may appear, there's no saving the fact that he's locked in, not to mention other people, as well. At the least, he seems to have caught on to that ray of sunshine, which he uses, but it's not as though it continues to erase all of the bitterness that comes with being here.
But nevertheless. βHe seems more at ease, than not, when appearing.
. . . A certain White Dragon, though, just to the side of the screen, does not.]
This amber is very impressive, really. To think that conversing across distances can happen instantly was even remotely possible. . .
But ah- More importantly! My name is Jae-Ha, and I'd like to most humbly offer myself to assist anyone who would like a few lessons in flight, as I'm sure that coordination might beβ
[He starts, only to be (rudely!) interrupted.] Jae-Ha! [It's clear the frantic, white haired dragon in the background is not at all happy with the situation, glaring at Jae-Ha from behind.] Your 'services' are hardly what is important right now. Get this off of me already!!
[That being Kija's gem is smack dab in the middle of his forehead, courtesy of some wonderful tree sap, therefore forcing the presence of his wings.]
Don't worry, it'll loosen up within a day. [or something]
That's too long! [He practically despairs.] I- I cannot stand to have these horrible things to be around for another second! AH-! [Nooooo] The Dragon Claw is sticky with sap now, too!
[Jae-Ha just lets out an exasperated sigh] They're a beautiful set of wings, Kija-kun. Now you can fly without any of my assistance, even. Take advantage of it. Your complaining will get you nowhere.
I REFUSE!! [Before Jae-Ha can do much of anything, then, a white scaled dragon claw reaches out and all but grabs his arm to get his full attention - and hopefully succeed in removing the stone, leading the feed to cut off short.]
[ooc: replies will come from either or both!]

So you're a Dragon Warrior? That's--that's so COOL! I mean--er, wait, let me start over!
[He clears his throat. Gotta do this right.] ...Greetings, O noble warrior from afar! I am Owain, scion of the Hero-King, beacon of hope to all who dwell in the vile clutches of darkness! For you see, I too possess a sacred power. My very blood is bound to the divine dragon herself, speeding pure, raw heroism through my veins with every beat of my heart!

first.
Also he only knows one dragon king and he was the dragon to follow her first. He doesn't know if he should feel impressed, or as though his position is being somehow threatened... ]
Hiryuu King? You are talking about King Hiryuu...?

Have you not heard the legend of King Hiryuu and the four dragon warriors? [ Except he must not have. ] King Hiryuu descended from upon high to live among men and ruled as a great and noble king. In order to protect him, the four divine dragons came down to earth and passed on their blood each to a person with the intention of protecting the king until their very death.
[ He lifts up his clawed hand to his chest ] Within my clan we had been given the power of the White Dragon, which resides within my right hand. It allows me ten times the strength of an ordinary man. [ For once he's actually more so explaining than boosting, though he is proud. ]
I was born as the next Hakuryuu, and for the first time since the initial legend so long ago, all four Dragon Warriors have been reunited with our king.

[Owain thought he knew all the dragon legends. This is so exciting!] You must tell me everything about this king and--wait, only four divine dragons? [He looks mildly puzzled.] There was an entire tribe of them once, if the sagas speak true. Now there's just THE divine dragon, Naga. ...Unless some of the remaining Manaketes are descendants of that tribe. [Scratching his cheek.] Man, where's Lady Tiki when you need her? She'd know.
...ANYWAY. That hand is really cool and all, but why do you need it? Can't you just breathe your icy breath of destruction at your foes?

[ He seems a little lost at the idea of such a power, as well as the suggested places of origin.. ] It's from within the Kingdom of Kouka. I have never heard of powers that consisted of breathing ice upon others however.

[Jealous? Owain? Never. ...Maybe a little.]

The four dragons have different abilities. Mine is strength, which is housed in my right hand. However, the other three dragons each have something different and unique to offer in turn.

[no no no it can't be a coincidence not THAT big of one I mean there are already two Links]
[oh whoops she quickly puts on a bright smile.]
No, you haven't, Sir Owain! My goodness, I had no idea.

Well then! It's a tale of blood and honour and other awesome stuff, and it's best told in person if you want to fully appreciate it. [So he can act it out, he means. That's a little tricky over the amber.] When you're ready to hear the saga to end all sagas, you know where to find me!
[Dramatic sword-hand pose.]

I'll be sure to ask you about it later! It certainly sounds like [...] quite an exciting tale.

Well lookie here. You might have met your match, Kija-kun.

[But dear lord. Kija, you're fine by him, but the last thing he needs is another just like you. ]

[ No, he's still definitely a little jealous. ]

[ Even though he doesn't always agree. That said, in the end, they both share a similar goal. Of course he will have Jae-Ha's back, they are comrades and friends. ]
I do not think the things you value are wrong. [ That it is bad to celebrate freedom, or find beauty in everything. He just doesn't see himself as chained. It's the opposite, everything right now is exactly what he and the many generations of Hakuryuu before him have all struggled for. ]

In the end, though, while knowing where Kija is coming from, he moves through the subject to something less centric upon himself.]
. . . It has me curious of what types of people there are here.
no subject
I did not know that there were other individuals who had similar tales to our own.
no subject
Well, maybe similar to a point, but yes. I wonder just how many others there are, in general.
