[Quite frankly, the whole of this situation has Jae-Ha seething. This tree - this world - is nothing but a glorified cage. As pleasant as some of it may appear, there's no saving the fact that he's locked in, not to mention other people, as well. At the least, he seems to have caught on to that ray of sunshine, which he uses, but it's not as though it continues to erase all of the bitterness that comes with being here.

But nevertheless. —He seems more at ease, than not, when appearing.

. . . A certain White Dragon, though, just to the side of the screen, does not.]

This amber is very impressive, really. To think that conversing across distances can happen instantly was even remotely possible. . .

But ah- More importantly! My name is Jae-Ha, and I'd like to most humbly offer myself to assist anyone who would like a few lessons in flight, as I'm sure that coordination might be—

[He starts, only to be (rudely!) interrupted.] Jae-Ha! [It's clear the frantic, white haired dragon in the background is not at all happy with the situation, glaring at Jae-Ha from behind.] Your 'services' are hardly what is important right now. Get this off of me already!!

[That being Kija's gem is smack dab in the middle of his forehead, courtesy of some wonderful tree sap, therefore forcing the presence of his wings.]

Don't worry, it'll loosen up within a day. [or something]

That's too long! [He practically despairs.] I- I cannot stand to have these horrible things to be around for another second! AH-! [Nooooo] The Dragon Claw is sticky with sap now, too!

[Jae-Ha just lets out an exasperated sigh] They're a beautiful set of wings, Kija-kun. Now you can fly without any of my assistance, even. Take advantage of it. Your complaining will get you nowhere.

I REFUSE!! [Before Jae-Ha can do much of anything, then, a white scaled dragon claw reaches out and all but grabs his arm to get his full attention - and hopefully succeed in removing the stone, leading the feed to cut off short.]

No need to apologize. Any sort of information is good, even if small. [He does frown a bit to that. How horrible.] Simply disappeared? That sounds similar to how we arrived here, to begin with.

How unsettling, though. [Murmured] Do you know how long ago the lot of us began to show? [wait, what-?] Spider?

No, but it does not sound they have stayed in this tree for a long time. [she nods blankly] A monstrous spider.

[He'll just give a nod; asking around, in general, is what he plans to do quite a bit of.]

Similar in the way that we seemed to suddenly just appeared here, without knowing at all how. I remember exactly what I had been doing back home before all of this happened. I suppose we could have been drugged, but it still wouldn't explain everything.

[He's seen a spider that could qualify for that sort of title, but here it's probably on a whole different level, isn't it.]

I suppose the presence of danger should be expected.

Drugged? I am not affected by poisons or toxins of mundane nature. [She shakes her head, she can share that as much.] Korra told me everyone saw a light before we were brought here, I count myself among them. [Initially she has not suspected it because at the time, she was bathed in Excalibur radiance...] This is likely the work of someone who is capable of a complex summoning magic ritual.

[She nods.]

Unless I understood wrongly, they slain the spider already, but I was told to be cautious of large animals and instincts that could have predatory intentions.

Ah; you're right. I think I do remember that. . .

[Still, it's unlike anything he has ever experienced. The idea of magic, too. He won't claim to be familiar with that sort of thing in the slightest, save only for the dragon legend from home, but will acknowledge the possibilities.]

Even if so, I wonder if we'll ever come face to face with whoever is in charge.

That's good to hear, but yes. Naturally we should be so. I have to wonder what really lies beyond the tree.

Perhaps it was the same light that bathes the tree.

[Her lips form a thin line, she's speculating about its nature and what it means.]

I do as well, though it seems it will be difficult. They could be in another level of the tree we do not have access, for example, or on the other side of the bounded field made of mist beyond the branches and the roots.

[She wants to know too, the animals can cross the fog freely, according to Korra, why couldn't they?]

[He frowns a bit to that.]

Is there much else you could tell me about the mist? I've yet to truly explore it. —Although I know you're still very new, as well.

I can only tell you what you already must know. It is some sort of bounded field or barrier. Whoever cast it must be very powerful because I cannot break it because they would normally shatter against me.

Maybe I'll give it a go, just to see, then.

[Not to look down upon her own inability, however. There's no harm in trying.

Any power I might possess is useless here unless I can send my companions to their homes.

Of course; I doubt Kija would want to be left out of making such an attempt.

[Oh, no. No that won't do.]

There's certainly a feeling of being powerless, here, and whom or whatever is keeping us trapped are absolutely repulsive, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't fight for our freedom at all. Doing whatever it may take is how it should be, even if it means to adapt to something different or unexpected, and even if its especially trying.

So you shouldn't say such a thing so easily, miss. I can't imagine your companions see you in that sort of way. You are only as useless as you allow yourself to be.

He seems to be courageous and loyal, and someone who will never abandon an ally.

[She has a high opinion on him after they spoke.]

Hm. Your concern is kind, though I did not say I would not fight and that my sword would not defend them. I am only conscious of my limits in cutting through that barrier. It is conceited and disgraceful if I did not acknowledge them.

[Unhelpful too because she can only defeat an obstacle if she recognizes it; the self-loathing runs deeper than what her actions expresses, it is more ingrained in her emotional bonds than stopping Arturia from taking action. She simply kills her feelings and goes on without regard for herself as person.]

He is exactly that.

[A very honorable and devoted type, even though all at once he sometimes takes it too far. Jae-Ha considers him a very resolute and powerful ally, and even a friend, by now, but still he can be incredibly obnoxious and annoying.]

Ah. I see what you mean, then. [he pauses, almost amused] It seems a bit like you and Kija would make a good team.

[he'd still call her 'miss,' anyway, but-]

Saber, then. And as mentioned earlier, my name is Jae-Ha. It's a pleasure.

What makes you say that? [She did just persuade him to learn how to fly and act tougher appealing at his sense of chivalry and belief to his master, but she still holds her judgment on her teamwork.] Although, I do not foresee any problems after speaking with him.

[She assents.]

Well met, Jae-Ha.

[Hm. What, exactly?]

Well, it's as you mentioned. He is a very loyal type, incredibly determined, and never one who will sit back and let things happen. If I'm to say, that's how you seem to be, as well. I am sure he wouldn't have an issue in fighting alongside you.

[Although, neither would Jae-Ha, himself.]

You know your friend well. [...] But perhaps you are too rash to judge a stranger. [She has killed so many as the king to be compared to someone who looks still too innocent.

I simply speak my mind. [Plain and simple. He has killed, as well, and so far from being saintly. Kija, pure as he may be, also will not hold back, though more so when it comes to Yona, in specific.]

But, yes. I aimed to help him, regardless. I'm sure he'll catch on quickly enough.
