[Quite frankly, the whole of this situation has Jae-Ha seething. This tree - this world - is nothing but a glorified cage. As pleasant as some of it may appear, there's no saving the fact that he's locked in, not to mention other people, as well. At the least, he seems to have caught on to that ray of sunshine, which he uses, but it's not as though it continues to erase all of the bitterness that comes with being here.

But nevertheless. —He seems more at ease, than not, when appearing.

. . . A certain White Dragon, though, just to the side of the screen, does not.]

This amber is very impressive, really. To think that conversing across distances can happen instantly was even remotely possible. . .

But ah- More importantly! My name is Jae-Ha, and I'd like to most humbly offer myself to assist anyone who would like a few lessons in flight, as I'm sure that coordination might be—

[He starts, only to be (rudely!) interrupted.] Jae-Ha! [It's clear the frantic, white haired dragon in the background is not at all happy with the situation, glaring at Jae-Ha from behind.] Your 'services' are hardly what is important right now. Get this off of me already!!

[That being Kija's gem is smack dab in the middle of his forehead, courtesy of some wonderful tree sap, therefore forcing the presence of his wings.]

Don't worry, it'll loosen up within a day. [or something]

That's too long! [He practically despairs.] I- I cannot stand to have these horrible things to be around for another second! AH-! [Nooooo] The Dragon Claw is sticky with sap now, too!

[Jae-Ha just lets out an exasperated sigh] They're a beautiful set of wings, Kija-kun. Now you can fly without any of my assistance, even. Take advantage of it. Your complaining will get you nowhere.

I REFUSE!! [Before Jae-Ha can do much of anything, then, a white scaled dragon claw reaches out and all but grabs his arm to get his full attention - and hopefully succeed in removing the stone, leading the feed to cut off short.]

Ah, yes. I know. I can make exceptions, though. [nothing wrong at if any of those gentlemen are good looking, either, of course.] It's not an issue either way- as you say, ultimately I would like to help others in giving them the skills so that they can avoid such injuries.

Yes, especially since we have rather limited medical supplies here. It's good to see a newcomer like yourself so eager to help out.

I'd like to think so, as well. I don't like these circumstances in the slightest, however still will take as much control over what I'm allowed to do, and where I'm able.

Is there any reason why they're limited? Shouldn't herbs and the like be accessible in a place like this?

There are plants that grow around the Tree, though I'm afraid I'm not much of a botanist, so I can't tell you how useful they are. [Because the smart option in the 20th century is DON'T EAT IT UNLESS YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT IS.] I was thinking more of things like wound care and advanced pharmaceuticals.

[Unfortunately he's not much of an expert, either. That's Yoon's area of expertise. Not that he would wish for the guy to come here, as well.]

I suppose we could use leaves and moss for basic wounds, or at least for abrasions and cuts. [as for that "pharmaceuticals" word, he has no clue about the specifics that entails.]

Oh yes, I've heard moss can be used to staunch bleeding. Willow is useful for pain relief, too, but this isn't that sort of tree.

We do have people with healing abilities, but it's good to have conventional supplies, too.

Healing abilities. . . [there's curiosity within that, before a huff of amusement.] I suppose so, then. This place really is more intriguing by the moment.

It might not be where we intended to go, but it is certainly fascinating in many ways.

Very. Although, I'd rather we not be here for long. If we can bring down the ones responsible, the sooner, the better.

You're assuming that they're an enemy, then?

I don't see why I shouldn't. Would a friend or ally ever draw people, who have done nothing at all, into what is only a trap, and bind them down against their will?

This world is indeed curious, and even beautiful, I can admit and agree to that, however it only runs skin deep, if at all. In the end, it's still a set of invisible chains.

I see. That's an understandable perspective. [It's one that she initially shared to a degree, since they were presented with a fully-furnished living space, yet no word from whomever summoned them.] But there is some indication that we were summoned to give aid. It happened against our will, but it's different from enmity.

There's no excuse for things being done against our will. [It's one subject he's more than serious about. Their freedom was taken. It doesn't matter how benevolent the ones in charge may ultimately be.] Searching for people to help out, then asking if they would lend a hand, is also perfectly doable. There are plenty of people who would agree to assist, without need of being forced.

Perhaps. It may be that the one who called us can't speak to us for some reason we don't know yet--I've been in a similar situation before. [NOT THAT IT ENDED WELL] However... it would seem at odds with the fact that so many people have been summoned, in batches.

And in either case, I don't intend to simply do as I'm told.

I suppose so. [he just lets out a breath.] I wonder if any other patterns might show up.

Most likely, although I hope that dangerous animal invasions won't prove to be one. [...] More easily, it will be interesting to see if another group is summoned next month.

True, on both accounts. Although, as for any potential animals, I would imagine [or hope] that combined, we have enough strength to overcome it.

Many of us are powerful fighters, and we were able to stop the spider invasion, so I think our chances of that are very good.

Glad to hear it, then. Kija and myself are also very adept at fighting; we'll be more than happy to assist.
