Amber
[ While the Amber activates, nothing is seen, covered up slightly- intentional maybe. It's clear though when the female voice filters through that the girl is speaking to the 'network' or anyone who can hear her. Some might recognize her voice, too, if they've spoken in the past. It's not that big of a deal in the end, but it may be a little embarrassing which is why she prefers speaking like this while holding the glass like rock. ]
What do you do when you can't sleep?
[ Yet, it's even more than that. ]
That is... what would someone suggest for prolonged nightmares?

But sometimes it helps if you put yourself in a safe environment... like, sleeping in the same room as someone you trust.
Amber
I thought that as well. [ And she does have Zero. They sleep in the same house. ] I guess maybe time really is the only true cute, huh.
Amber
Pretty much... though it's different times for different people. You can't really help it.

amber;
Sometimes it helps if you find a quiet place to meditate. It doesn't always work, though. [Korra's voice is soft, and just a bit tired.] I don't think there is a way to stop the nightmares.
amber;
Meditation? Like... crossing your legs and finding something to focus on?
amber;
[A soft sigh reaches the amber.]
It's supposed to help you think through problems like this, and help you spiritually.

amber;
Probably. I'm going to have to double check real quick.
amber;
[ Actually, this sounds like Nagi, doesn't it? He can probably hear every night when she wakes up from her night terrors... ]
How would one work?
amber;
[Flipping through his book!]
Mist of Sleep. Oh, yeah! It works kind of like hypnotizing someone. Except it just puts them to sleep. If I'm remembering right, it's kind of useless to use outside since it just blows away.

How do most people meditate? Funny enough, I've never actually tried it before. I always just get that funny image of someone sitting cross legged and and humming 'Ommmmm' for long periods of time.

When I can't sleep, I usually find a book and read until I'm weary enough to try again. A cup of valerian tea helps.
As for the nightmares, I'm sorry to say that I still seek a less exhausting solution than doing my best to wear myself out during the day.
Amber
[ Which is a shame. Although she doesn't feel as embarrassed asking now, at least. ]
I guess keeping extra busy really is one way... although that really does sound like it'd wear thin after a time.

It wasn't difficult to hear her while on the way back from the food alter. After putting his findings away, he goes to sit at the edge of her bed.]
. . . I wish there were more I could do.
[He talks without trying to get her out from under the covers. Although, there probably is, but he isn't sure she would be comfortable just yet with him completely in bed with her, rather than what he's been doing.]

Don't say that. You already do enough. I'm just mad at myself, and sorry that I cause such a ruckus.
[ She carefully flipped the blanket up and over her head, and atop the amber mirror. This way she wouldn't accidentally turn it back on. ]
Your own sleep is suffering too, isn't it? Maybe what we need is to find something for earplugs.

Arno wasn't a man to pity, he was a man of action and finding solutions. He won't pity, he'll solve.
But how to solve this here? In this place?]
Tea, coffee, a good book...Sometimes just trying to think of what you can do to be productive instead.
Re: amber
Mm... I wish the last two were something we could acquire here. [ Not that she had much coffee even back home. But a book wouldn't go amiss. ] But I wonder if using the natural leaves and plants in the area... I bet it's possible to make tea. [ She's never tried to make something like that from scratch before. ]

I could sleep with you, if that might help.

To think you could genuinely say that kind of thing so easily, Jae-Ha-san.

When did they start, hmm... it was before my arrival here. [ Though on a few occasions they've been incredibly bad of late. The problem is that explaining when they began means explaining a few things that are personal about herself. But at least... like this it's private. ]
It'll sound weird, but actually... I can't remember my early childhood. My earliest memories take place after a particular date when I was five. Recently a lot of things at home have prompted me to try and figure out the things that I forgot, but... [ A weighted pause... ] When I tried to remember a lot of strange things happened. Not just with nightmares, or delusions. [ Like how the very book she tried to lay her eyes on burned up before her. ]
Ever since I tried to remember, it's become actively worse. Even when I'm not trying to think about it. I don't know... I don't know how to stop it.

Why, then it's time to let them out to play Yuuki.
Re: amber;
[ She recognizes the voice. Letting her blanket fall free, her eyes shift to the amber piece. Last time she had heard that voice, it had been too dark to get a clear view of the one behind it. ]
You're the one who...
[ Had attacked her. Scared...her? Somehow, physically she hadn't been hurt on that occasion. ]

I'd love to hear it. If your mother sang it to you, then it must be a very special song.
