Action (CLOSED); Video (OPEN)
| characters | Yuuki + Zero
| date/time | May 5th, Afternoon
| location | Near the mist barrier
| rating | PG for now?
| summary | Music compulsion... even in the midst of a storm!
It was so pretty. Haunting maybe, in a way that reached deep inside her. The sound of the violin echoed through the air despite the storm. Bare feet stepped across the wet and muddy ground, while a leaf was held above her head to try and shield her hair from the heavy drops of rain. Since the day before, the heavens had really opened up. Although the wind was what made travel outside all the more complicated. Whenever a strong gust swept past it was all she could do to keep her feet planted on the ground.
At the mist barrier, she stopped to listen a moment, eyes closed. Even despite the storm, still the music played on. Not even mother nature was enough to prevent it. With a gust of wind, her protective leaf blew away, but she caught herself. Right here seemed to be as close as she could get, it looked like.
Without thinking too deeply on it, she lifted her now free hand up into the air, while one of her feet drew up. Slowly she turned upon her toes in a circle as she listened to the music, and then shifted in time to it. A dance meant for two but played out by only one. She moved to the sound of his voice, however. It was beautiful.
[Amber]
[ The girl appearing within the Amber glass looks as though she's just gotten out of the bath. Or more like the rain in this case. While her clothes are dry, a set of clothing is clear behind her, hanging up on the wall, and dripping a puddle of water beneath it. Even her brown hair is still saturated, drops of water sliding down the wet locks, even as she squeezes some of it to dry. She pokes the Amber and frowns momentarily.]
It always feels so weird using this thing... Hi- [ She lifts a hand up in a small wave, smiling a little sheepishly.] I hate interrupting everyone, but I was curious. What do people think of that pretty song that's been played of late? Others have heard it too, right? You know... on the violin, accompanied by a man's beautiful voice.

Something that he likely wouldn't be able to convince her otherwise of, right?
However, he simply nodded, letting Yuuki lead the way.
"It still is so strange, isn't it," he spoke again after several long moments of silence. It was only in hopes that maybe he could lighten the conversation again. "To be living within a tree, of all things. And to have wings."
no subject
Her fingers tightened around his.
"You look handsome with your wings, though. I think they suit you."
no subject
He couldn't not notice their hands again, though waited until they were within their small home again to look at her.
". . .Is something wrong?" He frowned a bit, not letting her go quite yet.
no subject
She shook her head after a moment.
"No- of course not. But more so- " She reached up with her opposite hand, brows drawing down while she lifted up to cup his face. "Zero, there's something you need. Something that, since our arrival here, you've been avoiding."
And there was no way that he could deny it.
"That thing... I want to rectify it now."
no subject
All he could do was watch her, initially, the worry still lingering, while his own brows drew down.
"I told you I'm doing just fine." It wasn't a lie. He would always desire her blood, but he was being completely honest. "It's a deep wound for you." Even though they used to engage more and more frequently, up until Yuuki had awoken. Then again, he belatedly realized that there were people here who were capable of healing. However he preferred to not have the information that he was a vampire become public, which very well could happen, considering both the appearance and location of the wound.
"I know Yuuki really wants to help, but. . ."

"Would you stop being so stubborn!?"
There was no magical cure to vampirism, and she knew that much. She knew that he of all people knew that much!
"Maybe you are doing better, but since when have you looked at me so delicately? 'A deep wound,' really, Zero?"
If that was the type of thing she was worried about, then they would have had many more problems from a long time ago. The marks did take some time to fade away, but she didn't care about that. Her fingers released him and she reached up to pull her shirt up and over her head in a swift move. Her camisole remained beneath, which she left in place. With so few clothes, she wasn't about to sacrifice her outer wear, should anything spill.
Determined, this time she was not to be deterred. Voice firm, it echoed with authority as she pinned him in place without a chance yet to speak. He needed to hear everything she had to say, because she wouldn't allow him to look down on her anymore.
"Unless you have an unlimited supply of blood tablets, you should start to use your head." She glared fiercely up at him, hands upon his chest as she moved to undo the first button of his inner shirt.. She knew this game all too well. But it had been a long time since he pulled it on her. The blush that rested in her cheeks was present, but didn't cause her to falter.
"Would you stop hesitating, and drink already? If something happens and you aren't at full strength, how is anyone supposed to depend on you then? Save your tablets for an emergency! That kind of thing should be a give in!" If she wasn't around and he ran out, what would he do then? No matter how strong he was, he wouldn't be able to remain abstinent from blood forever. And she knew what could happen if that was the case. Jaw firm, her fingers nimbly slid the red tie from his uniform off and let it fall to the side.
"We agreed to this already a long time ago."
Her voice seemed to suggest that she wouldn't allow him to back out of their agreement now. Her eyes were firm, a clear brown gaze that burned with determination as she found his.
"Unless something has changed that you haven't told me about yet, then this is me, telling you, to stop treating me like a porcelain doll and to get on with it already. I want you to drink my blood."

The tightness within his chest remained, while his heart, too, began beating a little heavier, even sticking to the back of his throat. Although, that was only in part due to how she basically stripped. Not that he'd never seen her in the state she was in, nor was it very new for her to undo his shirt, but it still could throw him off. Enough so that there was a bit of a flush on his cheeks, as well.
. . . More so, however, was the fact that a deep crimson had begun to edge along his eyes, which he wasn't exactly aware of. Obviously there was no lying that, yes, he desired her blood. Like he always had. Even before she learned of what he was did he practically crave it.
What was challenging this time around, though, and given their circumstances of being from different points in time, was control. It wasn't that he suddenly had a loosened grip upon it, though. At least. He just had to put more effort into not letting it show. This Yuuki wasn't the one he had already kissed, or practically confessed to. She isn't the one who kissed back, either. He couldn't linger for long, either, no matter how much he could acknowledge in wanting to devour her whole.
"I'm—" He tried for a reply. Of course something had changed. A lot. He knew he couldn't escape her (not that he really wanted to, ultimately). Not by this point.
One of his hands balled into a fist for a moment. ( Fine. You win. ) Before she could even blink, then, he had flipped their positions, getting her to the wall and unable to help as an arm slipped around her waist. The other hand moved to slip within her hair, cradling the back of her head. Eyes slipping shut, he finally gave, letting his lengthened fangs sink into her throat with little more preamble. The shudder that made its way through him was difficult to hide in the moment the taste of her blood filled his senses.
It had been quite a long while, or so it felt, since he had done this.
