[The amber reveals an elven face, tired and weary. He's leaning a bit to his sword, looking mildly annoyed.]

I need a place to stay. Just a bed, nothing more.

[He should be used to sleeping on the floor after his time with Danarius, but apparently he was spoiled these days after spending three years on a moldy mattress in a ratty mansion and then many more in a bed with a snoring beast and a dog.

About a month was all he could manage, and it had left his muscles sore and markings aching.]

I will not stay with any mages.

[ She remembers him mentioning something like that before, at the meeting. ]

Do you mean all super natural beings and creatures?

[He shrugs slightly at the last part.]

I'm not... opposed to other beings.

[ It still seems so strange to her. Before he had been opposed to all things magical as well. Not that Yuuki finds anything wrong with it, as long as it's to help people. ]

Um, well... my friend and I are pretty ordinary. [ For a vampire hunting vampire. She really is just an ordinary girl though At least she thinks so. ] I'd have to talk to him, but we still have two beds available at the place we claimed for our own, so there's plenty of room! I like to think we're pretty easy to be around.

[ She lifts a finger up into the air. ]

That said, we definitely don't discriminate against anyone! [ . . . ] Well... [ Zero tended to... ] That is I don't, anyway. If someone's a good person, I definitely wouldn't prevent them from visiting or coming over, regardless of what they are. So if that is something you're opposed to, it might not be a good fit.

I don't mind that. I simply need a place to sleep.

[He wouldn't even be around other than while sleeping. Honestly, he's not sure if he could even sleep around unknown people, but that was another issue.]

Is your friend your age as well?

[...because staying with children could be... bad. He's in his thirties.]

Mm. Well- he's a year older. Probably. [Since she doesn't know when her real birthday was. But they guessed at her age when she was adopted. ] I'm sixteen years old. He's seventeen. [ Well- he's actually eighteen now, but she doesn't realize that. ]

My adoptive father took guardianship over him almost five years ago now, so outside of the fact that he's a little anti-social, I can definitely vouch for him! He mostly keeps to himself.

[Arno looked onto the amber in thought. Feeling a little bit chummy, and curious, he spoke up.]

We have a lot of space at our house.

[He felt a little cheeky but hey, small talk again. Besides, Fenris was probably one of the first dudes he'd held a deeper conversation with. It might be a good idea to share forces. Made the most sense beyond anything else.]

I'm sure Steven would like some more people other than just me anyway. He's young but he means well...sort of grows on you.

[He looks amused, feeling more at ease at the prospect of staying with someone he 'knew' rather than strangers.]

There's a child staying with you?

[It was less of a problem if there was another adult present, unlike the two teens above.]

Well, horrible as in horribly annoying. But he's fairly harmless if you feed him and help him brush his hair. The boy does not know how to live on his own.

It is in the past, but the experience lingers. Mages are... dangerous in my homeworld, and I do not suffer magic well.

[Either you're a slave or you go fall in love with one that runs off to save the world without you. Fenris can't win.]

I wish I could offer, but it wouldn't be just my decision. I'd have to ask Orcelito and Riona first.

[And somehow she suspects they wouldn't be too keen on the idea of a stranger moving in.]

Besides, I'm not sure you'd want to stay with me anyway.

I think you'll like the beds here; they're really comfy. And definitely better than the ground, even if you've got a blanket to wrap up in.

[Kids sleeping on the ground wasn't a new thing to him, so he simply nods in acknowledgement.]

It would be... favorable to be a bit more comfortable. I did not use to need this luxury, but I suppose I'm getting older.

I believe I did. It should work out well, for now.

I've had little problems. I'm not picky.
