[ Pitch is, well, lounging. There's really no other word for it, and he just so happens to look like someone lounging half-under a warm kotatsu...only it's a bed. That's right you're looking at what appears to be fully grown man lounging underneath somebody's bed while he's making an amber post. ]

Do you know that everyone can see these? Doesn't matter where they are, if they check their magic looking glass, they can all see and hear me.

[ And in case you were worried about it, yes that is an awfully familiar looking bed. Checking on your particular bed would reveal a certain Boogeyman lounging underneath, with his wings neatly folded along his back almost like an extra bit of cape with gold at the edges and fluffy bits between his shoulders. Do you sleep somewhere other than a bed? Well, no big deal. Pitch is just making use of this bed (like a creeper) for the moment. Hey, at least he's not in your space? ]

((OOC; Don't worry about a 'catch up' log, or any kind logging. I'm slower than frozen sap in Winter for tagging, but the plot lasts more than a week, so only worry about having fun, not being plot relevant, elsewise tag your comments amber or action please? [ Talk about snapping. It's not that he has bad dreams either, which would be terribly ironic. No, it's the good dreams that Pitch can't stand. He has his own dreams all to do with the bittersweet memories of a little girl with black hair and sparkling green eyes...

Ahem, well eating mortal food is not a necessity, but I do enjoy the taste of absinthe now and then. A good, red Bordeaux too. I can eat as any mortal eats I suppose, though I have never tested it.

Yes. We are speaking right now which means you can at least hear me, but given our conversation I do think you can see me too. Which is another piece of this strange, strong magic at work.

[ And fairies are really Toothiana's gig, but so far the moth wings are helping Pitch's case out so not knocking those yet. ]

[ Eying Orcelito warily, Pitch does enjoy 'stirring things up' sometimes, but not the way Orcelito seems to think. It was also nice that whatever magic was making certain Pitch stayed visible was not a temporary thing. ]

Ah, but I suppose you could say 'Old Habits Die Hard.' I haven't been sneaking, and I've always come and gone into any place at all without too many - if anyone at all really - remarking on my presence.

What I am eager to see is a storied individual. Are there no real writers here at all?

And since then we've usually been too busy worrying about where our next meal is coming from or trying to stop Mumm-Ra for there to really be time for lessons.

But now that there is time, I really want to learn.

[ Pitch looked down in thought. The floor was wood as it was part of the tree but maybe moving Kit's bed over? At any rate, a clean-swept bit of wood and the charcoal from a mostly-burnt stick or a piece of naturally occurring chalk or some thing ant you;re good to go. ]

Here. If you are able to find slate get it. Chalk deposits are easily found. Find a place where you can create charcoal. I know of none, and have no paper.But, when this area is filled, place your bed over it. This Orcelito will undoubtedly have paper for you to better practice. See him as soon as possible.

[ With that Pitch knelt on the floor. Frowning in concentration, he managed to pull together enough Black Sand to make a single skeletal looking quill. And in very small, very sharply lined script wrote out "Kit is learning to write" ]
