Nightmare 2 || Amber post or Action
amber;
[ Pitch is, well, lounging. There's really no other word for it, and he just so happens to look like someone lounging half-under a warm kotatsu...only it's a bed. That's right you're looking at what appears to be fully grown man lounging underneath somebody's bed while he's making an amber post. ]
Do you know that everyone can see these? Doesn't matter where they are, if they check their magic looking glass, they can all see and hear me.
action;
[ And in case you were worried about it, yes that is an awfully familiar looking bed. Checking on your particular bed would reveal a certain Boogeyman lounging underneath, with his wings neatly folded along his back almost like an extra bit of cape with gold at the edges and fluffy bits between his shoulders. Do you sleep somewhere other than a bed? Well, no big deal. Pitch is just making use of this bed (like a creeper) for the moment. Hey, at least he's not in your space? ]
((OOC; Don't worry about a 'catch up' log, or any kind logging. I'm slower than frozen sap in Winter for tagging, but the plot lasts more than a week, so only worry about having fun, not being plot relevant, elsewise tag your comments amber or action please? Just so I can keep it all straight in my head ;'D ))

[ she makes a pause. ]
Hm. I do not suppose that is your bed where you are hiding under.
( amber )
You suppose correctly. I do not need sleep, thus I don't have much use for a bed. Or a place to put one for that mattr.

[ she scowls. oh she sees the bed alright. what she's more concerned about is that bed being orcelito's or kit's. if it, she swears she'll go over there right now and flip the thing right over. or try. it's the thought that counts. she doesn't like pitch at all, but. ]

What does it matter to you~?

Curiosity. Or you can tell me what floor you're on.

I'm not a mage, but I believe that's how clairvoyance magic works.
[That's how he's got it sorted in his head. Some weird magic tool using the long range Clairvoyance magic. This could be so useful at home.]
*amber*
...Which would make it scrying.
[ Don't mind Pich, he's just pleased to be working the magic out for the tree at all. And to realize there are no guardians to fuss with. ]
Re: *amber*
Scrying? What does the future have to do with it?
[If he weren't so goal orianated he'd be glad to be away from Sinbad, Alibaba and all of that, but he is. So not being able to continue his plans to kill his cousin is erksome.]
Have you no wish to return home?

Hmm?
[Puts down the feathers to go and investigate. She doesn't see anyone at first, but when she realized that the voice was coming from under the bed. She crouches down to look underneath and sees a familiar someone.]
Pitch? How'd you get under my bed?
[Kit isn't angry, just confused. And curious. But the question implies more than just curiosity as to how he got into the house without her noticing.
Normally, the space under Kit's bed would be a very tight squeeze for someone Pitch's size. But while the space hasn't gotten any bigger, and Pitch certainly hasn't gotten any smaller- a good thing too, since no resident of the Tree, including Pitch, has the size to spare-, somehow, Pitch fits underneath quite comfortably, with a little room to spare.]
Action
Because there is almost always a shadow to make use of under here. And many children worry about what's lurking under the bed.~
no subject
Huh... wonder why? Never been much of anything under my bed, except for some dust. Or maybe a lost stocking or glove.
[Things under the bed had never been part of Thunderan children's lore, unfortunately for Pitch. Not to mention that here in the Tree's the first time in awhile she's had a proper bed for things to be under, unless one counts the bunk the kittens share in the Thundertank.]
I was thinking of putting the feathers I picked out under there for later though. So you might have to move then.

Action
Should you care to investigate, there is a boy lounging against the headboard, and he is indeed wielding a feather quill against rough paper. A cup of ink sits by his bedside, as well as a firefly giving off a dim glow – just enough to write by.
Without looking up from his work, he says dryly] That’s fascinating. Now, I would appreciate it if you would either be quiet or leave. Your talking is distracting.
Action
And like a switch getting thrown, Pitch had the Amber Slice secreted away among the shadows that clung to him, and true to the ( rather rude ) request for silence, silence is exactly what happens. How such an apparently tall, thin man managed to fit under your ved in the first place is a mystery. As is how such a tall, thin man was able to silently move from being under your bed to blatantly reading over your shoulder. He likes writers, okay? ]

[Suddenly the boy stops writing. The quill remains paused as if in thought. Then he asks in casually,] Do you know how many magic users there are here in the Tree? [Because this person skulks around so much he’s bound to have noticed, especially if he sneaks into houses uninvited and hides under beds. And aren’t the shady characters in fairytales always attracted to witches and sorcerers? (And children alone in their bedrooms at night.)]

The shadows are dear to me. Since they let me move around in them all the time no space is too small.

[He doesn't really understand it, but hey, he had a girl living in his sword for the past while. Anything is possible, apparently.]
