The items were gathered. The quest completed.
The mirror's words were erased.
At first, it seemed like there was no reward, no conclusion of the adventure.
Then the threads started to slowly weaken. One by one.
As dawn broke over the tree, so did the spider web blocking the fourth floor.
One by one, spiders crawled out from the open hole.
Hungry.
Angry.
Many.
Welcome to the Tree's first boss battle! Spiders the size of the characters and above will now look for food among the tiny adventurers. They're poisonous, their bites causing a painful paralysis, and they enjoy wrapping their victims in webs to take upstairs.... to their mother.
Too large to even leave the fourth floor, this monster spider boss is not only dangerous, but oddly durable. She's immune to magic attacks, and is far more intelligent than a mere bug.
Baby spiders are free for all, but mama spider will be played by the mods!
