[Quite frankly, the whole of this situation has Jae-Ha seething. This tree - this world - is nothing but a glorified cage. As pleasant as some of it may appear, there's no saving the fact that he's locked in, not to mention other people, as well. At the least, he seems to have caught on to that ray of sunshine, which he uses, but it's not as though it continues to erase all of the bitterness that comes with being here.

But nevertheless. —He seems more at ease, than not, when appearing.

. . . A certain White Dragon, though, just to the side of the screen, does not.]

This amber is very impressive, really. To think that conversing across distances can happen instantly was even remotely possible. . .

But ah- More importantly! My name is Jae-Ha, and I'd like to most humbly offer myself to assist anyone who would like a few lessons in flight, as I'm sure that coordination might be—

[He starts, only to be (rudely!) interrupted.] Jae-Ha! [It's clear the frantic, white haired dragon in the background is not at all happy with the situation, glaring at Jae-Ha from behind.] Your 'services' are hardly what is important right now. Get this off of me already!!

[That being Kija's gem is smack dab in the middle of his forehead, courtesy of some wonderful tree sap, therefore forcing the presence of his wings.]

Don't worry, it'll loosen up within a day. [or something]

That's too long! [He practically despairs.] I- I cannot stand to have these horrible things to be around for another second! AH-! [Nooooo] The Dragon Claw is sticky with sap now, too!

[Jae-Ha just lets out an exasperated sigh] They're a beautiful set of wings, Kija-kun. Now you can fly without any of my assistance, even. Take advantage of it. Your complaining will get you nowhere.

I REFUSE!! [Before Jae-Ha can do much of anything, then, a white scaled dragon claw reaches out and all but grabs his arm to get his full attention - and hopefully succeed in removing the stone, leading the feed to cut off short.]

It wasn't that early. You'd probably be dead on day two.

That is rude. I would not die so easily. And what is more, I have learned much since that time, such as edible weeds!

'Sup, guys. He'll be returning now, with a rather full, and carefully packed backpack.]

It was all I could find, but there was a set-up with a lot of berries, nuts, and seeds. We'll bring them over.

I've learned a lot more about all that since I first started, so I'd survive longer than you even now.

[The conversation turning to seafood makes his stomach growl.]

Mentioning that is just cruel, I don't remember the last time I had something like that. Fish doesn't count. Next port we hit, we need to grab some crab or oysters. Something.

[ At least he ate the stuff, even if he shuddered the whole while. ] Regardless, I do not think we will find that kind of thing here.

[Ah- well, maybe they'll pass through Awa again; something he by all means wouldn't have any problems with. Sorry, but now sorry though, Hak. He was lamenting just as well.]

[He paused then, looking to his bag, then dead-eying Kija, before letting out a sigh. FINE. ]

Shall we go, then, Kija?

You realize flying will take a fraction of the time.

[ His pride though... ]

Alright. [ Because Hak is still injured, they really shouldn't take long. ]

[Sometimes pride must be sacrificed. Which isn't beautiful, BUT. . .]

Ah. . . although I guess we'll need to do so in a different position than we have in the past.

T-These cursed wings. They even get in the way of something like this.

I still am perfectly able to be gentle.

[He loves you, really. Handing over his backpack, now.]

Just focus on holding this. Try to be careful, so the berries won't burst.

[ A frown at him ] I am not so delicate. [HE DOESN'T GET IT Reaching out, he takes the bag carefully, though.]

[He can't hold back a snicker to that. BUT. Moving on to more important things.

Without saying another word, then, Jae-Ha moves to scoop Kija up into his arms - of course mindful of his own wings - and presses off. It still is somewhat different, in that he can't carry himself nearly as far on just his leg, alone, but even so, wings in full use, he all but shoots upwards.

They only go to the next level up, but if they're to search for Hak, it'll pretty much have to go this way. ]

[He's definitely not far away from either of them. In fact, he's made a place for himself on the level just above where they arrive. It's time to actually make himself known though, he guesses.]

Thought you'd never find me.

[backstory]

[ This is kind of embarrassing... so once they are on the floor above, he gets back to his own feet quickly enough. ]

Hak, are you well?

[He, too, looks over Hak, frowning a little. It doesn't look to be injured, though. . .]

Here. There's food in it.

[He offers out his bag, while waiting for him to reply to Kija.]

[He's just going to ignore Kija's question and investigate the bag instead. Food is much more important than anything else.]

Good. I feel like I haven't eaten in forever.

[He grabs a handful of nuts before leaning back in the chair he'd found. He pops one in his mouth before grinning at them both.]

Sup?

What do you mean 'sup'? Should you be casually moving your arm around like that? [ Hey, don't ignore him! Comparatively, both Jae-Ha and Kija are bruised up. But shouldn't Hak have more? ]

Was the food from before not good enough? I told you I could help if it was needed. [ But he seems to be eating just fine, now. ] What kind of beast recovers so quickly?

[jadewine]

[Color him surprised, too. Until he notices something.]

. . . Did you clean the blood stain out, or mend the hole in your sleeve already?

[Because it isn't there. Nothing at all is there, or out of place with his clothing.]

Or Yoon has, maybe? As Kija says, I really can't imagine you healed that fast.

[So it's his arm that he apparently injured? Hak makes a point to look carefully at both his sleeves, even inspecting the bands around his forearms. He's obviously looking for signs of damage.]

That Yoon is pretty impressive, isn't he?

[Hak takes another handful of nuts and tosses them into his mouth.]

It wouldn't be the first miraculous recovery I've made.
