Hello, everyone! I hope you're all well today.

It seems as though the mirror on this branch is enchanted! It's showing a riddle at the moment.

It reminds you of a riddle the heroes would find in a storybook, don't you think? But of course, reading a story and being in a story are two entirely different things.

Yes, and the ones at the ground entrance to the tree.

It may be. It's the only other being we've met aside from the fireflies and ants, and they don't appear to be confined, whereas the webbing is a clear barrier. [She taps her fingers on her cheek.] It may not be a literal 'web', however, since the mist outside is also impassable.

I dunno about the one on the ground entrance. Now that we have wings we seem to be able to go through it just fine; it just tingles a little.

You're right about the mist, though, which is weird. I mean, it's mist; it's not even solid. We should be able to go through it with no problem, but we can't.

[Kit thinks for a moment.]

What else does the riddle say?

I wonder if we'd be able to pass through without holding the wing gem... [That's musing half to herself, though.]

I assume that the mist has some kind of magic that makes it solid. As you say, it should only be difficult to navigate, not walk through. The rest of the riddle is the items needed to break the webs--a 'diamond from the clouds', one of 'autumn's sacrifices', and 'a handful of hair from the mad eater'.

This could be the cue to invite kit to the riddle solving session? :3

[Kit shrugged slightly; that would really be the only way to find out whether they could pass through the lower web or not. The riddle, however was more complicated.]

Hmmm... Well the first two seem pretty easy; snow or ice, and a fallen leaf. What's 'the mad eater' though?

I still don't know about the mad eater... I've asked others, but nobody has an idea yet. [She taps her fingers on her chin.] I think Korra-san is having a meeting to figure it out, so maybe we can figure it out with the others.

You wanna go try that later? One of us could hold the other's gem while they tried to walk through.

OK, that sounds good. I bet we can figure it out if we all put our heads together.
