hakanai: (Covered * Intensity)

[Amber: 002]

[A few conversations he's had lately have inspired this amber 'post' from Yoshitsugu. He's currently laying down on his bed in the room he shares with a myriad of interesting souls, face-up and holding the amber piece above his head so it can show his face (well, what little of it that is visible).]

The wish to return to your homes is normal, but it is frankly stupid to reject the opportunities for growth you can find here. Accepting them might not hinder you efforts, it might indeed help them, and the personal experiences may prove fruitful and useful for your future... whatever that future might hold.

[As is typical for him, however, he can't help but add something of a dark tease at the end; nothing about his tone suggests it is anything but serious. It probably doesn't take much thought to work out Yoshitsugu's attempt at humour unless you're exceptionally naive, though.]

Of course, it may be unwise to listen to the words of a ghost. Who knows how he might lead you astray?

Ah yes, I think I did hear of that nickname. But surely it was a metaphor? [in history class and you know what, Otani-san.] If you have been committing crimes under our noses, it's considerate of you to conceal them so well.

[She doesn't think he has, mind. She's just rolling with this.]

I suppose you're a bit pale, but you've never been see-through. That would be difficult, trying to give orders to people who can't tell if you're there.

[she notes the emphasis on that word.]

Offering you my thanks seems appropriate. I don't believe it would be pleasant at all to clean up, and I wouldn't be surprised if some ruthless person suggested using a victim as food. But what about the smell?
monster_san: Actually not but SURELY YOU TRUST THIS SMILE (100% total sincerity for trufax)

Not that I would doubt the efficacy of any curse you laid, Otani-san, but I wonder how useful rumor itself is? Those who are convinced they will lose are good at bringing it about. [And then blaming other people.]

I had considered that, but I don't think our current crop of flowers is particularly suited to concealing that sort of crime--if we had lavenders and roses, certainly, but dandelions and nettles don't have a particularly strong scent.

Yes, but that's the practical side of rumor, isn't it? You don't have to do any of it yourself.

[Totally a lie.]

I suppose we do have a lot of the dandelions... oh, I had another thought. [She taps her fingers on her chin.] They are quite abundant, aren't they? Perhaps they have... an unusual fertilizer?
