Appearing outside the tree after the sword has been inserted is normal-sized slice of chocolate cake, enough to feed everyone in tree and more!

Oh, you know, living. Except I'm not quite sure what happened to me the first two weeks you guys left to look for that sword. Apparently I was in a coma for two weeks. Arno took care of me. But I can't seem to figure out WHY I went under.

A coma?! [The easy, pleasant look on Fuu's face instantly becomes one of shock. That's a serious medical event! But since Cynthia apparently survived without all the complicated life-support equipment of a hospital, it must have been magical in nature.] I'm relieved that Sir Arno looked after you... perhaps it was because of the light's change in color?

[She's already wondered if the spate of disappearances is a result of that. Could it instead cause them to fall unconscious? Or could it be responsible for both?]

Maybe.

[She had been opting for her usual black coat and black attire lately. Mostly because it'll easily hide the fact that she had lost a slightly noticeable amount of weight when she was under, and she didn't need people freaking out about it.]

At this point, all I can assume is that magic put me under and magic kept me alive. Arno's voice kept me from losing myself. But I think that's a story for another time.

You don't look the worse for wear, at least... [Cynthia's black clothing is doing the job there. Or, if Fuu does notice that she's a bit thinner, considers it a natural consequence for a two-week coma.] Sometimes "magic" is a very unsatisfying answer, but perhaps we'll learn more through our investigaions.

[Starting to wonder more if she should be shipping Cynthia and Arno. But she won't pry; how very rude.]

You're feeling all right now, though?

Peachy, actually. I felt horrible when I first woke up. My mind probably reset itself, because those first few moments, I didn't even know where I was.

A few berries and some water later, and I was feeling like myself again. Magic.

Your mind reset itself? [What an unsettling way to put it.] My goodness, that must have been alarming.

[That sounds like the easiest coma-and-amnesia cure Fuu's ever heard of. If only things were so simple in the non-magical cases!]

Decidedly magical. I hope that you don't have to repeat the experience--Miss Garchomp must have been worried, too.

It's not actually as bad as it sounds. Whenever we wake up in the morning, we always need to take some time to shake off the grogginess and wait for our brain to wake up too, right? That's what I mean by resetting.

Except my mind was expecting to wake up in my bed back home. So I felt a little lost for a bit.

Oh! I see now. [That sounds much less worrying and supernatural--Fuu remembers a few times when she woke up in Mokona's tent wondering who the heck the two girls beside her were.] That's happened to me, too, but it's a relief to know it's a normal kind of disorienting-and-disturbing.

Yes well...now I'm awake, and I can drown every memory of that weird night with my two favorite things.

[She holds up her slice of take.]
