It's still early in the morning as the increasing winds roar outside the little fairy homes, rustling the small balconies and gusting slightly through the crack in the fourth floor wall. It's nothing but a bit of bad weather, something the week has been full of.

...that is, until a deafening crack is heard outside the tree, only to thunder into the tree itself with such force that it shakes the whole trunk.

The air is quickly filled with ash and soot, blackening everything outside.

Eek! W-what was that?!

[A bit of fumbling, as she grabs her talisman...]

WHO DARES ATTACK OUR SACRED FOREST? SHOW YOURSELVES AND SUFFER UNDER THE WRATH OF MY VENGEANCE!

Noire has flown off to investigate what's going on, but that's not entirely the best option. Smoke catches her, and she hits the ground, though thankfully she wasn't too high up to begin with. She coughs hard, struggling to clear her throat.

Gil's flown over to Noire, a paper fan in his hand and is just sort of... gently fanning the smoke away. It's not nearly enough to clear the ash, but at least it should keep more from getting to Noire.

He doesn't seem too concerned with this whole affair. In fact, he's pretty entertained.

It's a small effort, but effort all the same, so she appreciates it. She looks up, slowly nodding. "Thank you..."

"You're welcome! This smoke's getting in my face too!" If he had everything he owned, Gil would have been able to blow all this smoke away easily, but he didn't, so this would have to do.

"Are you okay? It would be pretty terrible to die to a falling tree!"

[blood_and_thunder]

She blinks at the 'new information', trying to stand up properly. "A falling tree...? Is that what happened?"

"Yup! Looks like the storm uprooted a tree!" Gil figures that has to be the case anyway. Winds, possibly a bolt of lightning. On the plus side, that probably means the rain will wash away the ash and smoke soon.

[blood_and_thunder]

"A storm...?" She repeats, nearly in disbelief. She stares at the wreckage, and then, a shaky little laugh escapes her.

"A storm... that was all... After all this time, I forgot that storms could do such a thing..."

[ Now here's a face she hasn't seen in quite some time. She's using her hand so she wouldn't breath it in while occasionally firing some some sword like beams to get the smoke out out of the air. ]

Hello..! Is anybody else here?!

[She stands up, trying to see the other girl better.]

Be careful! If you breathe in too much of it, you'll get sick!

I'll be okay! I've been clearing the air with Ruby and making sure I don't breathe too much of it.

[ If it's too much, however, she can probably create a barrier around herself. ]

That's good... b-but what's going on? Everyone must have felt that... Was it some sort of attack?

There's a tree-- outside-- it's about to fall. I'm going to help try and stop it before it's too late.

There has to be some way I can help! If it falls the wrong way, someone could get hurt - maybe even the animals!

Smoke does not affect Servants in the same manner it does to people, partly because they are Spirits in flesh. Saber saw her fall due to the smoke, but she was too far away to be caught, even if she sped up her wings. The strong wind makes it trouble to navigate. She lands as fast as she can when she does find her, crouching beside Noire to give her a helping hand.

"Can you breathe?" she asks, reaching out to pull her up and to help her to move somewhere away from the ash and smoke range.

Noire coughs a few times before she can properly respond, her throat aching. "I-I'll be all right..." She manages to speak, trying to look at Saber. "But what's going on? Something terrible must have happened!"

"I will answer your question after we are at a safe distance," Saber assures her. If she notices she has trouble to walk, she will carry her. "Try to keep your head down and not breathe in the smoke."

Thankfully, Noire has enough strength to stand, though she does lean on Saber slightly. "Thank you..." She then covers her mouth with her hand, trying to only breathe slowly.

Saber considers to sweep her off her feet and carry her princess-style, but she wonders if she would be against her sense of dignity. Even if she is a lady, she is also a warrior. She leads her slowly to the areas where the air is clearer and the heat of flame has not reached. They are confided thanks to the fog and the weather.

"Can you breathe now?"

Noire takes a good moment to breathe in and out deeply, before nodding. "Yes... I think I'm all right, now that we're farther away from... whatever that was... What was it?"

[When the tree falls, Fuu is glad that she had decided to get up early and avoid picking things in the heat, but horrified for her friends still in the tree. When she hears the yelling from her amber slice, then, it's a relief.]

Noire! [TOO URGENT FOR COURTESIES] Are you okay?!

AYE, IT WILL TAKE MORE THAN THIS TO WAKE DOWN MY FURY! IF YOU HAVE FOUND YOURSELF HARMED, I WILL RIP APART THE FOUL BEAST THAT HAS DONE SO!

[translation : i'm good, you?]

[Whew, that's a relief. It would be hard for her to be so melodramatic and loud if she was injured.]

I'm fine, I was outside--no need to rip apart anything. [The amber's background changes a bit as Fuu moves position.] It looks like a tree hit the tree!

... Wait, it was another tree?

I... think so. It's a little hard to see right now, of course. With all the ash--[ping.] The tree that was struck the other day?

... That's all it was? Just another tree?

[There's a pause, and she gives a small, tired laugh.]
