It's still early in the morning as the increasing winds roar outside the little fairy homes, rustling the small balconies and gusting slightly through the crack in the fourth floor wall. It's nothing but a bit of bad weather, something the week has been full of.

...that is, until a deafening crack is heard outside the tree, only to thunder into the tree itself with such force that it shakes the whole trunk.

The air is quickly filled with ash and soot, blackening everything outside.

Smoke does not affect Servants in the same manner it does to people, partly because they are Spirits in flesh. Saber saw her fall due to the smoke, but she was too far away to be caught, even if she sped up her wings. The strong wind makes it trouble to navigate. She lands as fast as she can when she does find her, crouching beside Noire to give her a helping hand.

"Can you breathe?" she asks, reaching out to pull her up and to help her to move somewhere away from the ash and smoke range.

Noire coughs a few times before she can properly respond, her throat aching. "I-I'll be all right..." She manages to speak, trying to look at Saber. "But what's going on? Something terrible must have happened!"

"I will answer your question after we are at a safe distance," Saber assures her. If she notices she has trouble to walk, she will carry her. "Try to keep your head down and not breathe in the smoke."

Thankfully, Noire has enough strength to stand, though she does lean on Saber slightly. "Thank you..." She then covers her mouth with her hand, trying to only breathe slowly.

Saber considers to sweep her off her feet and carry her princess-style, but she wonders if she would be against her sense of dignity. Even if she is a lady, she is also a warrior. She leads her slowly to the areas where the air is clearer and the heat of flame has not reached. They are confided thanks to the fog and the weather.

"Can you breathe now?"

Noire takes a good moment to breathe in and out deeply, before nodding. "Yes... I think I'm all right, now that we're farther away from... whatever that was... What was it?"

"I do not know with certainty, but it seems that the trunk of a burned tree fell onto this one," Saber says, glancing at the dark atmosphere they left behind. She is surprised there is fire at all, has the barrier of this place weakened somehow?

Noire turns around as well to try and see the damage. She blinks a few times as it sinks in. "Was it... nature? ... Was it really only nature?"

"Yes, I do not detect any spell," Saber admits, narrowing her eyes. She does not sense magic in this. "This was simply the result of bad weather."

Noire is quiet for a moment, and then a disbelieving laugh escapes her. "Just weather... that's right! Sometimes, it's really just the weather... I'd nearly forgotten..."

"It is unfortunate, but weather becomes more dangerous when we are of this size," she reminds her. It could be a small storm but each water drop could still drown them.

"Even so..." She looks at Saber, with a weird little smile on her face. "But after all the enemies and monsters I've had to fight... I'd forgotten nature still moves on, with or without war."

"Nature is deadlier than any creature when she turns against you," Saber says so with certainty. She's been blessed in the past by the will of the planet that she has forgotten this fact.
