[ A grey skinned, eyebrowless face appears in golden hyper denial. The gold eye that is closest (and both are very close indeed ) is looking the Amber Slice over critically as Pitch is examining this new piece of magic on his person to go along with the little gem now secreted away in the darkness of his robe. ]

--ere pictures and sounds and what-have-you a moment ago. This magic should not be difficult to duplicate.

[ You see, kids, this is how you know you've been alone too long. You start talking to yourself all the time. No, he doesn't realize others can see him. ]

I think everybody that gets brought here gets them, yeah. Least everybody that I've seen.

[And since it sounds like he's not especially fond of them...]

But if you don't want to have them all the time, you don't have to; they're only there when you're touching the gem fragment you got. Good thing too; they're good for getting around, but sometimes they kinda get in the way too.

They seem to get in the way more often than not.

[ Then again, Pitch thinks the wings maqy be allowing others to see him. ]

Then all you have to do is tuck the gem in your pocket or something. It only works when its touching you.

[She tilts the amber slightly for a moment, so that he can get a better look at hers, which she made into a sort of necklace with a long bit of string she'd had with her, then returns it to its original position.]

You'll wanna keep it nearby, though; unless you wanna do a lot of climbing, flying is the only way to get from one floor of the tree to another.
