LIGHT

Warmth, love and kindness.
The Life Stream glimmers and glitters with joy, swirls of shimmering dust dancing around the ray of life.
It was time for new ones to test their wings.


One by one, new adventurers now arrive in the Tree. As one gain wings and rises to the second floor, another light brings in the next person. Soon, a steady stream of people from all kinds of worlds, times and realities come to join the others. Whether confused, angry, excited or scared, your arrival is welcomed with nothing but joy as the fireflies and glow worms descend to greet their new friends.

The Tree offers no explanation and no reason, but the truth is undeniable.

As you will soon realize, it isn't easy to be tiny.

Well, that was pretty fancy. "A new adventure, huh? I don't know; I wasn't really done with the last one."

And he'd actually been hoping to take it easy for a little while. The work of a knight was never finished... "I'm Kyle, by the way. Nice to meet you."

Well one could never have too many adventures, I always say. But it's a pleasure to meet you Kyle. My name is Cynthia, and she's Garchomp. Chompy for short.

[She motions to the dragon that was currently taking a nap in a nearby corner.]

I told her to hide for a bit till everyone calmed down. So she decided to take a nap. The poor thing must be exhausted.

Kyle looked over at Chompy, and... well, how could you really tell if an animal like that was male or female? It was like trying to figure out a Dragon Horse.

"Chompy, right... I've never seen an animal like that before. Not that that really surprises me at this point, I guess."

And I've never heard of a place called Falena or seen clothes quite like yours. So...I guess it's safe to assume that we're from different worlds or something? Garchomp and creatures like her inhabit my whole world. It would be impossible not to see something like her unless you're from somewhere else.

[Or he's been living under a rock his entire life. But it didn't feel like he did.]

What is Falena?

Well, that was... quite a leap in logic, there. But whatever, Kyle would roll with it.

"The Falena Queendom. It's a country on the southern continent, where the old Armes Kingdom used to be. Up until recently, we were ruled by Queen Arshtat."

[She tries her very best not to look as confused as she was. This man was using some pretty big words, and she had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. What she did pick up though, was that he came from a kingdom that used to be another kingdom and there was a queen with a rather interesting name. But her eyes do fall on his sword for a moment.]

Ok, ok too much information. Let's dial that back a bit. Let's start with you, Kyle. Are you some kind of warrior in this Falena Queendom? That's a lovely sword you have there.
