LIGHT

Warmth, love and kindness.
The Life Stream glimmers and glitters with joy, swirls of shimmering dust dancing around the ray of life.
It was time for new ones to test their wings.


One by one, new adventurers now arrive in the Tree. As one gain wings and rises to the second floor, another light brings in the next person. Soon, a steady stream of people from all kinds of worlds, times and realities come to join the others. Whether confused, angry, excited or scared, your arrival is welcomed with nothing but joy as the fireflies and glow worms descend to greet their new friends.

The Tree offers no explanation and no reason, but the truth is undeniable.

As you will soon realize, it isn't easy to be tiny.

For what is worth, seem to be very fine, ah...Dove. Dove...? [She has to stop and think for a second; her interest in birds stops at Chocobos, alas. Whatever, he's obviously a bird and there's no point in lying about what kind when he's not trying to hide the fact that he's a giant talking bird, so she's all too glad to shrug it off.]

...And happy to accept compliments, if the way she's preening at her hair is anything to go by. Not that it gets Yuuya out of his little fourth-wall predicament, if the way she's watching him from under her eyelashes is anything to go by.]

Hmmm, don't know...Odd that word has not spread of your kind back to us. What is name of country you are from? Is very far from Aldenard? Do not take lying very well, Ser Dove. [Except she's still grinning, so if nothing else she's at least relishing the idea to mess with him a little should she get it. Some things never change, not even in fairy land.]

Actually I've never heard of Aldenard. I hail from the distant island nation of Japan. [he pronounces it differently from how he usually would. It's totally a fantasy land.]

[Oh Yuuya you stone cold badass. Not many men could face her when she's layering relatively subtle little threats into casual conversation-- ...Actually, not many men get to see the subtle part. It's usually pretty blatant. And, had she asked if he'd known anywhere else, she'd probably shrug it off.

But Aldenard's an entire continent. You can't hear about chocobos and not know of where they're bred, which is in Ishgard on said continent. Why bother lying about that? Chora's smile grows a little thinner as she tucks that one away for later.]

Sounds very interesting place; might have to visit, just to see more of your kind and soak up more compliments. Unless you are only one so free with words, hm? Not that can complain about such things; even if is obvious, would never deny someone speaking truth.

A friend, huh? Oh, very well. Japan is a series of islands in the Pacific Ocean, east of the coast of China. Its history is longer than I can easily recount, but it's known as a nation of politeness! Our most recent prime minister is a shoebill stork. Like a lot of places, it's terribly cold in the winter and very hot in the summer.
