SECOND WISH ♔ ( AMBER )
[Saber's face immediately appears on the amber surface and, from behind her, there are glimpses of Chime's recently opened shop.]
Good morning. To those who were not aware, the spirit known as Chime has just opened her shop and brought wares that are not available to us in the tree. [She is inwardly pleased to know that means this creature too can leave the tree somehow, but she will try to communicate with her later.] However, these items are not free and we cannot afford them alone. Their stock seems to be very limited as well. The answer is obvious, many of us surely have concluded that the solution is reuniting with close allies to purchase the desired ware with them, but I will suggest something else.
[She has been speaking about this matter with some people already, but she has had no time to propose an assembly outdoors to discuss the organization overall they could have to improve their lives and call a vote. She pauses to make her proposal.]
There are basic items such as food or the string of yarn, among others, that are of a general interest. Why do not we, the potential purchasers, donate them in benefit of all of us? We should assign a space as a storeroom to keep all what belongs the community and be sure that they are given a fair use.
[If this is accepted, she will bring up the delegated tasks for those who are specialized in different fields to optimize their lifestyles. Because raw ingredients could be better utilized in hands of good cooks than inexpert ones.]
If you do not agree, it is fine. I only wanted to address that, for the time being, we are expected to live together and a cohesive group stands stronger than one that lives with cordial divisions.

no subject
[He's not agreeing to anything yet, exactly. The idea of working together is annoying, but he's a cook(and prince!) and leaves, nuts and berries only offer so much. He's not a fussy eater, but he knows a few so more variety could be good thing.]
At the very least it might help maintain health.
[He doesn't know what 'Vegan' means, so constantly eating leaves is sitting a bit poorly with him. Meaning he's never heard of anyone who simply ate plants. Hunting or fishing is always available in some form.]
There's no fire to dry or smoke it. Then their is the matter of portions and who gets what.
( amber )
[Does this mean he has thought about what she told him?]
Cold helps to preserve food, we are discussing to employ ice in containers.
[If this was not an emergency, Saber will be more selfish about food (specially because Shirou spoiled her with his cooking), but she has to be less Saber and more Arturia and crush the little things she learned to enjoy for the greater good.]
Yes. We must know the amount of people we are to be fair in the distribution.
Re: ( amber )
[It's becoming a consideration. If not for good reasons then as a means to an end.]
Ice chambers?
[You know it's a wonder his world doesn't seem to have such things, that he remembers right away. They have Ice magic. Maybe it would be too much strain on the magicians to maintain? Freezing would certainly work, though at least at home less convenient then drying.]
That's going to be difficult unless we have some form of check in or roster.
( amber )
[She asks bluntly. Last time he was not doing well.]
Or smaller containers with ice that will need to be replaced after it melts. As long as it is kept in a colder environment, the food will last longer.
[If they share it with all souls, they do not need to keep it store for a long time either.]
I shall leave the specifics to those who volunteered with their magecraft. [Rin is smart and resourceful, she will figure out a way.]
( amber )
[Sadly for him it's a repeat of losing his arm, the great fire when he was a child and thus not entirely a new process to adjust to.]
Hmm, it could be a project.
[Something to keep Judar busy if he could convince him of it's importance, for a few moment of the day anyway. Though it would give him the opportunity to take extra food. How long it will last is always something of a concern, not knowing how big the items are himself.]
( amber )
[He seems old enough to be certain if he's in pain or not.]
It is only one of the many this place requires.
[Saber looks deep in thought briefly. She is prioritizing three fields at the moment: security, food and health before the others. And the one that will lead them in order to leave. But she knows there's so many more.]
( amber )
Is it?
[Food is ok, they could use an outside source. Security is always a problem, even if none of them had weapons. Getting out is a major priority but without even a hint to see how...better to focus on what he can actually reach. his thoughts start turning in his head, even without him realizing it.
Then he shakes himself.]
Ah, sorry. Was there a plan on where to put the Chambers?
( amber )
[Basic administration to any community that is growing. There's nothing here, just divided groups so far harmoniously.Which leads her to the other potential peril.]
This is a peaceful and harmonious group so far, but conflict seems to be an inevitable constant in human nature and I do not mean between us and external forces. [She pauses.] What can you imagine could happen if we do not establish some kind of agreed norms and how to proceed in those cases to prevent any unnecessary violence?
[The worst case scenario could lead to confronted groups that could take a side. Completely wasteful. She prefers to prevent that. That is why she wants to gather everyone so they could decide their shared future.
She lifts her eyebrow at his question.]
I have seen spaces between the houses in the second and fourth floor we could use for that purpose.
( amber )
[He knows how to cook and fight, maybe manage some basic care to his clothes. He can manage certain wounds. He can also manipulate plants that aren't the tree. Something he needs to experiment with more.
And he's one of the two more self--sufficient of the imperial princes and princesses. He's also meant to be the Emperor of Kou if he has his say. He...has a fair bit to learn. Aggravating as that is.]
People would sort it out themselves. It'll probably happen anyway, opinions are very strong motivators.
[He's willing to die and kill for his if need be.]
( amber )
[ She thinks about how they are using the space, how to re-arrange it to keep the weaker in protected, middle areas, surrounded by the stronger fighters on the top and bottom floors. But such concerns are left to decide as community. Together.
Arturia has no intention to rule this place, she only wants to push people to organize among themselves, understanding not everyone has the same experience of administration nor should they have. She can counsel and propose ideas, but they can only make it happen if they adhere with her suggestions. The number is reduced enough to exercise a government like the one in Ancient Athens through open discussion and vote. ]
I agree, this is why we should meet and speak of this at once.
[ It is better to prevent than to solve hastily in middle of a crisis. ]
( amber )
As a group? How would we get everyone in one place? Is there a place big enough?
And what would be said? Live and let live?
( amber )
[ She assents. ]
No, that attitude would not help if we are serious about regulations to avoid chaos. [ It speaks of an incredible indifference and fear of commitment too. ] We must decide on law and punishment in case it is broken.
[ The sentences vary in gravity depending their society which is exactly the kind of dissonance she wants to avoid when a crisis emerges. It is better to be clear beforehand. And her Alignment is Lawful, she cannot help but thinking laws should be maintained. Law, order and a few established systems would be the best legacy left behind if more are captured after they escape. ]
( amber )
[Maybe he wasn't clear enough, but as long as actions at home and viewed as actions at home, he, well, he doesn't really care either way. He can just see it becoming a problem.
He's much more chaotic. As long as things are going roughly the same way he is then fine and dandy. It's when they start taking turns in the different directions things get complicated.]
( amber )
[Although she doesn't care about the weather, most surely do.]
( amber )
[think ahead he does. Since he's been sleeping sparingly and pretty much where he can find a safe place the fact it's still chilly at night hasn't gone past his notice.]
( amber )
[She tilts her head. His comment makes her suspicious.]
Where have you been staying, Ren?
( amber )
[He should find out where Judar is staying or something but for the moment he's stuck to exploring when he's awake. Which is more often then not. He's not the world's greatest sleeper.]
Why?
( amber )
Because one of those glow worms could help you to keep the place you have chosen to dwell warm.
[Silent advice. If he falls ill, he will be in trouble.]
( amber )
Glow worms?
( amber )
[She describes them.]
These creatures are very docile and they seem willing to cooperate with us.
( amber )
[Weird with a weird ability. He hasn't really been inside a house.]
It's something that can used at least.
( amber )
[She doesn't know what you mean with "dungeons", Hakuryuu.]
( amber )
A Djinn's Dungeon not the one were prisoners are kept. They have many forms and many strange creatures. A Prisoner's Dungeon would be like a cave.
( amber )
Djinns? Nature Spirits of the Middle East? I did not know they had the habit of trapping people in dungeons.
[If she vaguely recalls the lessons Merlin taught her about different classifications, she could have sworn they were wind spirits.]
Re: ( amber )
Some of them can be. There are more types then just that. Some are fire, lightning or water. They seem to come in all elements.
Only some do that as well, most go into the dungeon in the hopes of capturing the Djinn and having it's power for themselves. Some have even managed to capture more then one, but that number is small.
